LOGINAs like what happened in that building yesterday, the moment my eyes rested upon this mysterious man’s beautiful eyes, it was as though the entire world around us faded away. All I could focus on was this man and the way his entire aura seemed to draw me so close to him, I felt as though I was drowning in him but breathing fine.
Watching as he took a dangerous step towards me, the beautiful haze I had landed myself in snaps from my mind in that moment and instant panic settles in. I was now stood not even a foot away from one of the men who killed all of those people and in the most gruesomely terrifying way. My lip quivers, my entire body shook and my throat seemed to close up the longer my eyes watched this dangerous monstrosity in front of me. “W-what are you doing here?” My petrified voice mutters out in a shaky manner, the fact that I was even talking in this second was surprising, it truly was as though I’d lost complete control of my body as I began to back step away from the door, which I should have tried closing in this moment. “I am here for you.” Was all this dark but beautiful man spoke, his voice seeming to send intense shivers down my spine and my knees to want to buckle, but with how terrifying that sentence was, it only allowed me to panic more. “P-please don’t hurt me… I didn’t tell anybody what h-happened, the p-police came but I kept my mouth shut. I p-promise I won’t tell anyone what happened if you l-let me go.” I began to stutter walking quite quickly backwards away from this man as his huge and dominating steps drew closer into the house, each step engulfed in power and darkness. The moment he entered the house, his face turns down to the box Earl had given me which sat right by the door, anger in his expression as though he knew what was hidden inside. This should have been the indication that perhaps Earl maybe wasn’t losing his mind and the items within that box would help me in this moment, but my petrified brain didn’t seem to realise this as I walked deeper into my parents house and reached the kitchen I was sat in not moments before. “I do not care what those weak officers may do with any such information, my sole intention when I entered this pitiless town was to collect what belongs to me… you angel.” This man’s dark voice spoke closing the front door behind him but his eyes of dominance not leaving me for a second, his words even more terrifying to me. “I-I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to see what I did yesterday! Please just leave me alone… please I’ll do anything.” I begged placing my hands on the counter to hold up my crumbling body which wanted to drop to the ground but also, somewhat run into this individuals' open arms. “Now my eyes have locked with yours, angel, there is not a thing in this world or beyond that will lead me to leave you. You belong to me, you are my property and one, that will return with me.” This man disclosed as though he somewhat had the rights to me and my life but the moment he spoke about taking me somewhere, the warnings of each person who tells you never allow yourself to be taken to a second location screamed at me. Allowing my eyes to scan the countertop frantically, they land upon my mother's glass vase which held the most beautiful flowers inside. Even though this was indeed my mother's favourite and this man was absolutely massive with those muscles that such a vase wouldn’t take him down for long, but I needed to try. Watching as this man reached the counter and stood that same distance he was when we were by the door, I take the glass vase into my hands and launch it at him. Glass, water and flowers fly everywhere the moment it hits him, using the element of surprise, I sprint away from the kitchen and this man and head outside, being in the street may prevent him from grabbing me. Bolting towards the closest exit, which was the back door, I thought my freedom was beyond close before what appeared to be the outline of another large man, not as big as the one chasing me but still large, blocked the door, were all the men from that building chasing me?! Hearing a deep rumble from behind me in the kitchen, I turn on my heels away from the back door and begin my journey through my parents winding home to reach the front. Immediately, the heavy sounds of this person's feet pounding on the floor behind me sounded, allowing more tears to leak from my eyes and my feet which slipped along the floor due to my socks to run even faster. As the front door now came into view, another man seemed to block the entrance as though I was completely surrounded, my already panicked body seemed to panic even more as this realisation came to mind. Looking around the area and knowing I didn’t have any other exits, my only solution was to hide and hope somebody came home in time to rescue me. Bolting up my parents' stairs and reaching the upper landing, I couldn’t stifle the scream which left my lips as this man, whose eyes were no longer bright blue but much darker loomed at the bottom of the stairs watching me with such deep anger that I was running and a few drops of blood from the vase dripping down his face. Using his anger as leverage for me to go faster, I sprint towards the spare bedroom and slammed the white door behind me. Allowing my shaky hands to turn the key locking the door, I rummage around the room and begin to push the heaviest furniture I could find and with all my strength, pushed it to sit against the door. “You are simply prolonging the inevitable angel, open this door.” The man’s more agitated voice sounds from the opposite side of the door, while my body seemed to finally, have enough of all this running and panic and my knees buckled sending me down to the floor with a crash. After I didn’t go up to open the door, that same rumble seemed to erupt from behind and in one sudden kick, the door and all of the quite heavy furniture seemed to fly open and send each object crashing to the floor. That same man I had locked eyes with now stood in the entrance, the door wide open and broke but his eyes locked on me with such anger. Crawling backwards out of beyond fear, I couldn’t stop the sobs that rippled from my lips followed by a scream as this man, strides in, takes my leg and pulls me along the floor until I landed right close to his tense body which loomed over me. “I-I am so sorry! P-please don’t hurt me.” I sobbed staring up at this man with the most fear I believe I’d never produced, my entire body shaking and preparing for the end but within that, the odd magnetic pull seemed to ignite and somewhat pull my body to his as his hoovered above me. But the moment his almost black eyes locked with mine, I believe he saw the complete terror which looked back at him and instantly, they soften and his blue eyes that I’d locked with yesterday returned, as though seeing how terrified I was effected him in some way. “There is not a reason for you to fear me angel, the last thing I will ever do is harm you, it is my purpose in life to do the very opposite.” His much softer but still powerful voice spoke leaning even closer down to my body, before my mind could comprehend what he said, his hand gently rested upon my bare skin of my arm which Earl had exposed when he pulled my sleeve up. Instantly, the most beautiful rush of intense sparks seemed to erupt in that area but such a feeling, it wasn’t painful in the slightest, but the very opposite. Gasping at the new sensation not understanding what was happening, I slowly move my head to stare at this man who lingered above me, his other hand resting on the floor beside my head keeping him up, a beautiful smile sat on his lips as he looked down at me, as though those sparks only further confirmed something that I knew nothing about. “You are mine angel; you belong and have always belonged to me.” Whispers now escape his lips as his hand run up my arm and rested upon my tear-soaked cheek, those beautiful sparks now erupting all over my face as I looked back at him in wonder, my entire body wanting nothing more than to move closer to his touch, as though it’s all it ever wanted to feel. “I don’t understand.” I now muttered getting lost in his touches and eyes, which this man seemed to like running his thumb over my wet cheek, my tears now soaking his hand. “I know my angel, but in time, you will understand fully what we are we and what you truly mean to me.” His beautiful mesmerising voice spoke pulling me deeper into his spell as another person entered the room behind him, such a man I realised was another that was in the building that day but what sat within his fingers, caused the same panic to spread through me. “NO! Please don’t inject me with anything… please no!” I began to beg spotting the large needle filled with clear liquid, but the moment I went to wiggle my body around to get away, this man pressed his body against mine and trapped me against the floor, his strength preventing me from getting far. If I wasn’t panicked for my life, how his body lay against mine and seemed to fit so perfectly as though we were created for one another would have filled my brain, or the way those sparks spread all over me or even his scent. Before I could stop it, the sharp needle is injected into my neck and whatever liquid inside poured into me. “You are safe with me angel, simply breathe, you are where you belong now… with me.” The man with those eyes whispered running his finger over my face as the biggest wave of tiredness consumes me, my eyes feeling heavy as they locked with his blue eyes, tiny cries leaving my lips as I sunk deeper into the feeling. “Shhh angel… I am here.” Was the final thing I heard before my eyes dropped closed and my head fell into his hand which still held my cheek. I may not have understood anything this man said but with time… I’d realise each thing he said, was the truth. After finally, getting out of bed and away from Dominic and all he wanted to do there, I’m able to jump into the shower and change into one of the many outfits that were hidden within my own walk in closest. Apparently, after I’d told Grace my sizes when I first arrived here, Dominic had her order as many clothes as she could and they were brought here. I wondered where they were getting clothes from this entire time and it’s been right here! We spent the first half of the morning walking around Dominic’s gigantic home, each room and hallway so elegant and slick, I was shocked it even existed. The theme of the house as like his bedroom was dark, marble floors under our feet as we walked the hallways, dim lights added to the dark atmosphere while what appeared to be a church like window stood at the top of his large staircase right at the front of the house, this allowed a stream of natural light through, such a feature I appreciated or you’d be suffocating in the darkness. He also h
Watching as the gold streaks seemed to dance around his blue eyes, my heart pounded so fast in my chest and the rawest thoughts of doing exactly what I could feel Dominic wanted, spun around my head almost pushing me to give in. If I thought the speed of my own thoughts were pushing me to finally, seal the deal with Dominic, the moment he lowered his head down into my neck and placed the gentlest kiss on my own mark, the instant pleasure was so intense, I couldn’t stifle the loud moan that escaped through my lips, it appears I have the same reaction as Dominic. Taking his head which still lingered within my neck, I pull it up and before either of us could mutter a single word, I’d planted my lips against his using this as my way to confirm without speaking that I also wanted the same thing. Dominic didn’t need any introductions and soon deepened the kiss, my entire face filling with those mesmerising sparks and his taste which I’ve come to adore and crave more than life itself, exp
I thought I’d be led back to the pack house after speaking with Dominic and confessing my feelings, it was a place I’d stayed since my very first night here. But instead, I’m led to the edge of the pack house and down a long driveway towards Dominic’s private residence. He explained such a thing should have happened the moment he found me, but with the fact I didn’t know his kind existed and what we were, he didn’t want to overwhelm me and thought staying in the pack house would allow me to understand his world more. After the whole poison incident, he said there was much more at stake now that I was marked and I would no longer spend a single night away from him. Before I could comment, the biggest mansion I’d ever seen in all of my life stood before me at the very end of the driveway. Due to the late night, I couldn’t see much surrounding the building, only what the bright lights that hung from the wall or sat in the greenest grass facing the building allowed. If I thought the
Once the crowd had dispersed now the deed had been done and Scarlett was dead, all of the children who sat around me holding each other, slowly began to go back to their families. Each sending me bright smiles and waves, I had shielded them from the pain, death and suffering Scarlett went through, but that didn’t mean I had that opportunity. Waving to the last child as she ran away to her father, I bring my knees up to my chest with my head in the centre of them, the sadness and pain I felt hearing Scarlett die right in front of me but a pain I had to hide in order not to scare those children finally, broke from its cage. Tears rolled down my cheeks the longer I thought about Scarlett, yes, we ended up hating each other and all that she’d done with Dean and now poisoning my water, I believe my feelings were more than justified. But that didn’t stop the memories I held from when we were younger still spinning around my brain, when we’d have sleepovers and midnight feasts, or when we’
The next few hours seemed to blur past, after I almost fainted on the stage in front of everybody, Dominic took me back to his office for me to get as much rest as I could. He said he’d much rather I stayed home while the execution took place but due to the rules of the pack when it was founded many of hundreds of years ago, each and every person residing within the borders needs to be present. Speaking of the execution, I asked Dominic if he was sure he was doing the right thing and asked if killing Scarlett was really the way to handle it, but he was quick to explain how now it had gone to a pack vote and the decision had been made, they could not go against it… the pack had decided. With this in mind, I couldn’t shake the fear and deep guilt I felt as I’m led back out to the front of the pack house, the temperature even colder than it was some hours ago, thick puddles of ice littered the floor due to the temperature and any breath you would take, an icy blast of freezing vapour w
Laying me down on the wooden platform, Dominic lingered by my face calling my name repeatedly while the crowd behind him seemed to gasp out of worry or growl out of anger. Even though I could hear him and my surroundings, my mind spun so fast I had to close my eyes hoping more of that projectile sick didn’t climb up my throat and give everyone a real show of what I went through this morning. “Get the Luna some water!” The doctor’s voice from before shouts as he too joins me as I lay hoping the feeling would pass, his hand taking mine and holding my wrist as though he was checking my pulse. “What I believe to be happening Alpha, is the medicine I have prescribed the Luna to dilute the poison within her body is doing that very thing. But while diluting the poison, due to how deadly the poison is and how much was used, she will continue to feel some affects as it works its way out.” The doctor explained as the dizziness seems to subside slightly and I’m able to open my eyes, which in

I didn’t manage to get even the tiniest hint of sleep after meeting with the police officer, not only due to the deep fear which pulsed my body or the graphic images of that very building presenting right in my face whenever I would close my eyes but it was as though my body felt a shift in a air.
