Boredom

Mia hesitated when she saw that she would be riding in the same car with Adrian but she got in anyways. She sat very close to the door. As far away from him as possible though it was hard to be really far since it was a small car and not a limousine.

She placed all her attention and focus on checking out everything and every person that she saw on the way as the car drove. Her mind was not on what she was looking at, it was far away.

Would he take her to his illegal establishment or the illegal one? If he took her to the legal one she wondered at the type of work he would give to her. She never completed her high school neither did she go to the university so she had no knowledge about business or working in a company.

It wasn't any of her business anyways. He was the one that wanted her to work so if she did the wrong thing then it will be on him and not her.
