“I should let you know. I never wanted to deceive you, it’s just that we live in a different world.” His rough hand rubbed my back soothingly.

I could feel her heartbeat, and her breath against my body.

“That night I found you, happens to be the best night I have ever had, never have I imagined that I would find you at the mating ritual or that you would be human,” I whispered into her ears, Aria had calmed and she was just listening to what I was saying to her.

My wolf was happy, and I was too that she wasn’t pushing us away again like she did earlier.

“I can’t let you leave the pack because you will only get into danger, there are rogues in the woods and they would...” I pursed my lips. “I won’t let anything happen to you, and you are safe with me.” I stroke her hair affectionately with my fingers.

I would keep the guards at watch, though I have warned her not to leave but Aria has a mind of her own, and she’s not like the werewolves I could easily control.
