04: Unexpected

"Where do you want to eat?"

I looked at him. He looked left and right, looking for something to eat. I also searched but couldn't find anything good to eat.

"Anywhere," I replied. I Give up. I went to the mall in no time, I still had a little money with me because I thought I would be able to go home right after. I have no intention of going to the mall, it's just an excuse for me to go home.

"Hmm, anywhere," He mocked me, I turned to him and frowned at him. His expression immediately changed when he noticed my presence "There? Do you like there?" He asked and pointed with his finger, I looked at what he pointed to.

"That's okay." I didn't care about his answer and we walked in there.

When we entered, the customers looked at us, I looked away because of the shock. I know they are not looking at me but at Dyhein. Yes, he is attractive. No wonder, I admit. And he was so tall that he really grabbed attention.

I looked for a place to sit, luckily the mother and daughter had just left so I found a place for us to sit. I sat down and Dyhein ordered our food, what he had was the same for me.

While I was waiting I was just looking at the glass wall. I looked at the ceiling, I saw it was beautiful so I took my cellphone out of the bag and took a shot the light hanging on the ceiling. I turned to the glass wall when I noticed the child who fell on the floor and was crying for his mother. A small smile appeared on my lips.

"What are you laughing at?" I turned around when I heard Dyhein's voice, I gave him a small smile.

"Nothing," I answered and took my food from the tray. He sat in front of me and placed the tray on the other table "Why did you accompany me?" I ask.

"Uhm, nothing," He bit his lower lip "I have nothing to do. So I'll just join you." He answered. I just hid my head in response. 

 We were eating in silence and looking at the glass wall. I glanced at Dyhein, just looking outside, I immediately looked away when his eyes landed on me. I also looked back at him when he suddenly cleared his throat.

"You know, I thought it was your bum at first," I opened up in the conversation, I took a tissue and wiped it on my lips. I looked at him and he was looking at me curiously but he suddenly laughed. I laughed at his reaction, it was cute.

"A lot of people tell me that but they are wrong," He chuckled and took the glass with only coke on the table and sipped from it "I just don't mind them but sometimes I noticed that I have different way to greet them but, yeah. I'm rude." He shrugged.

I just nodded in response as I watched him move, he also looked at me but only for a moment. I adjusted my seat and just went back to what I was eating, what time is it and it's already lunch time. I have to go home, I still have a lot to review.

"Are you going to buy something?" He asked as we walked.I looked around, I saw the arcade but I wasn't in the mood to play. My feet are tired right away as we walk around inside the mall. I turned to him, looking straight down the road.

"You?" I will ask.

"I'm just free, no need to pay,"

What he said made my lips apart, did I hear it right? "Okay, you say." I chuckled. I heard his soft laugh, I just shook my head.

Dyhein thought we should go to a jewerly store, I just followed him wherever he looked for jewelry. I'm like a dog who is very kind and obeys his master. He stopped walking so I stopped too.

My attention was immediately caught by a necklace and the pendant was a silver airplane. I was disgusted when I saw how expensive the price was, I didn't have a lot of money with me so I turned away so I wouldn't be attracted.

I just thought of waiting outside the jewerly store. The jewels inside are very attractive. I might still owe Dyhein, and I don't know him that well yet.

We moved to the department store, I also saw something to buy but it was not that expensive. While Dyhein was just behind me, just following me. Earlier I was following him but now he is following me even in my commands. I laughed a little.

"Dyhein, please ask how much it is. There is no price tag," I ordered him, he immediately took the clothes I was holding and walked towards cashier 02.

A few moments later I saw him walking back, looking straight at me with a serious face "1,164.00 raw," He informed me.

I nodded in response and put it back to where it was earlier "What do you think of me? Alalay?" I frowned and immediately looked at him.

"H-huh? No," I answered and turned away from him "Arf arf," I laughed and whispered. I heard him take a deep breath, I looked at him while holding the other clothes "Are you tired?"

He nodded "Go sit there," I pointed to the black chair near the mirror, he was about to walk away but he immediately turned back to me and frowned when looking at me.

"You're making me a dog!" He whispered. A smile slowly appeared on my lips and I immediately giggled.

"Hey! No way! Sit down! You're tired!" I told him and pushed him but I couldn't push him because he was heavy! "Go ahead! Just wait for me!"

"I don't want to, force me first--" He was interrupted when a sales lady suddenly approached.

"Good afternoon, Ma'am and Sir. What can I do for you? Is it for Sir?"

I raised my eyebrows because of the sales lady's question. Dyhein turned to me and looked at me in shock. I pursed my lips and shook my head, trying not to laugh. Soon the sales lady also left in front of us, Dyhein and I were secretly laughing. I didn't know Ate still had jetlag.

We didn't stay long at the mall because it was almost midnight, Dyhein just dropped me off at the car park because I didn't have my car with me when we went to the mall. Dyhein didn't stay long in the car park either and he also had to go home immediately.

I opened the back seat door and put my shopping in there. I closed it and was about to open the driver seat door when I suddenly heard a familiar voice. I turned around and saw Videlle walking towards me, his hair wet and a towel around her neck. It looks like he just finished taking a shower.

"I'll go with you!" He smiled at me. I just nodded and got inside the car, after a while Videlle entered next.

"Damn, why it's so hot today?!" When he entered and immediately turned on the air conditioner loudly, I just let him do what he wanted because he was tired and had just come from the game.

"It's very hot today, isn't it?," I said and handed me an air conditioner "I just realized it when I left the mall," I added and drove the car away.

"Did you go to the mall?" Videlle asked in surprise "You didn't take me?" The tone of his speech was mixed with flattery.

I slowed down my driving and looked at him. He didn't know that I went to the mall with Dyhein "What... I just returned Dyhein's clothes,"

He nodded and his mouth went from 'o' "Aahh, why still at the mall?" he asked. I turned my gaze to the road and scratched the back of my neck.

"Well, I don't know!" I answered irritated and just sped up the drive, it hurt me to hear his grin.

After our class I went straight to the 7/11 which is near the Uni, when I entered my eyes looked for Natt and Videlle. They weren't there yet, so I sat in the empty space near the glass wall, I took my cellphone and started scrolling while the two weren't there yet.

I raised my eyebrows when I saw that Adee had messaged me on messenger.

Adelaida Kudos: I can't go, we have a vacancy right now but I have another sub e. Thank you!

I immediately typed 'Okay lang' and hid the cellphone in my pants pocket.

I jumped from my seat when someone suddenly knocked, my eyes immediately searched for where it was. My eyes widened when I saw Dyhein outside and waving at me while turning his back to his colleagues.

I smiled a little at him and waved at him. I even looked at his colleagues, it looks like they hang out here too.

"Dev!" I immediately turned to the door when I heard my name being shouted, I stood up and walked towards Videlle.

"Buy now," I ordered them and walked first to the refrigerators where the cold foods were.

I opened the fridge door and got something to drink. I turned to see Videlle and Natt huddled together, I frowned and slowly walked towards them.

"Really? They're together?" Natt asked Videlle in disbelief "Shall I ask her?" I was immediately confused by what they were talking about so I interrupted their conversation.

"What to ask?" I looked at them both confused. Natt turned to me and Videlle turned back and opened the refrigerator, I looked at them in turn.

"I don't know about this! It is said that you were together at Dyhein's mall!" Natt answered and pointed her index finger at Videlle.

I immediately hit Videlle, who was pretending to get a drink from the fridge, and he was just standing there!

"Ouch! Why are you fighting back?!" He said annoyed to me while holding his neck. I glared at him "Why isn't it true?!"

"I just returned his clothes!"

"Well, yes!? You've been together before!" He said, I was about to speak when a cashier boy suddenly stopped us. I just glared at Videlle and walked to the cashier to pay for my purchases.

After we bought we went out. I looked again earlier in front of the 7/11 where Dyhein was earlier. They are gone, I didn't realize earlier if they went inside the 7/11. Maybe back inside the campus.

My focus returned to Videlle and Natt when they invited me to go up to the rooftop. Because at the top of 7/11 there is also a convenience store called Alfamart, on the 3rd floor is a rooftop where college students can hang out when they are vacant or when you go to school early.

So when Videlle, Adee and Natt and I went to school, we hung out here, sometimes Adee was the only one who lacked four of us because she was too focused on studying. She took a medical degree so she didn't have much time to relax, just once.

When we went up to the rooftop it was noisy because of the conversations and laughter of the students. Just looking for a place to sit, we had a hard time because others were still taking monoblock chairs.

"What is that?! So annoying!" Natt shouted in a whisper as she tormented my back.

I turned my back and unexpectedly saw Dyhein frown and staring at our table. I immediately looked back in front of me. I took from the plastic the vitamilk I bought earlier that I bought on 7/11 and drank it. Akala ko ay bumalik na sila sa loob ng Uni?!

I was quietly drinking here while Videlle and Natt were talking about something, I didn't know that because I didn't know anything about what they were talking about."It's hot, damn it," I whispered and looked at the emptiness."It's cold," said Videlle, I turned to him with a frown and looked at him from head to toe "The fuck, it's like you're killing me in your brain,"

"You want me to tell the truth?" I asked sarcastically and raised my eyebrows at him. He moved my face away with his right hand, I immediately removed his hand from my face because of the cold.

"Your hand stinks!" I was irritated and told him even though it smelled like ax dark temptation. He smelled it.

"No way, smell it," He said and was about to bring his hand to my face but I immediately avoided it. I got annoyed with him and just drank vitamilk again.

While I was drinking, I looked at the man who passed by and he stopped behind Natt, so I suddenly stopped drinking when I saw who it was. Videlle immediately handed me her handkerchief, I took it and wiped my mouth.

"What are you doing here?!" I asked Tim in surprise, I looked back and saw that Dyhein and the other person he and Tim were with were gone.

"Why? You're not the one I came here for," He answered, I just looked at him with a frown. A smile slowly appeared on his lips "Someone will come to you too," He said and pointed to my back.

I frowned even more because I didn't know what he meant. I immediately turned back because I was curious as to who he was referring to. My eyes widened when our faces suddenly met and I didn't think Tim was talking about Dyhein.

He slowly grinned while staring at me "Unexpected?"
