Shaking my head, I tried to make sense of his words, but truthfully, there is no making sense out of something like that really. When the scoff died, I held his gaze, “Really, Cole?” I arched a brow, annoyance now filling me as I realized he truly was serious about that. “How could you say that to me? KING’S LUNA CHAPTER 72.ESMERALDA STONE (RANIA)’S POV.The environment surrounding us was no longer day time, it felt as though with the sudden shift of emotions, the air changed as well and our surrounding morphed into darkness of the night, the moon light breaking through the thick canopy, illuminating the sudden swirling mist that rose from the ground. My brows drew in as I took in the mist that appeared out of nowhere, my frown deepening.However, I did not get the time to fully think it through with Cole lunging himself at me. Thankfully, I managed to evade it just in time, and he recovered almost immediately, which is not a surprise because he is the beta after all.
