Chapter 5
Years passed, days and months went by, and I became one of the most famous models in the world. Today, we are celebrating the birthday of my princess, the princess of our lives. Mommy Matilde named her. She is named Angie Suarez. At the age of 5, she has already achieved so much in school. She's intelligent, cheerful, kind, beautiful, and affectionate. She inherited her beauty from her father, not from me. I can't help but remember him. I am just grateful to the Almighty that I inherited my kindness and affection from him. Well, that was before. I will leave that in the past because Rhian is different now—no longer the one who was ridiculed and always wrong in the eyes of my former parents. I have long forgiven them, but their shattered love for me can never be restored. Then someone offered me a modeling contract for their clothing line. Even though their brand wasn't well-known, I accepted it immediately because it was my way of helping promote their creations. I’m not like other models who refuse to model for lower-class products just because they’ve become famous. I accepted two contracts: one for a new clothing line and the other for a perfume company. JACKSON'S COMPANIES The company belongs to my child’s father, Andrew Santorini Jackson. 'Wait for my return, because when I come back, I’ll make sure to have him chasing after me like a lovesick puppy,' I thought with a smile on my lips. "What? Are you ready to go back to the country you came from? Are you ready to meet Angie's father again?" asked my friend Eli. "Are you ready to get hurt again?" he added. "Someone offered me a contract, Eli, and I couldn't say no. He was one of my classmates in high school; even though we weren't close, he was kind to me," I explained. "Are you bringing Angie with you?" he asked. "And have you really moved on?" he added, raising an eyebrow. I smiled and chuckled softly at his question. "Yes! I've moved on, and yes! I want her to see the Philippines and how beautiful it is," I replied. "What else can I do? You’ve already made your decision, so I’ll just go with it," he said. "So, do your second parents know that you’re going back? And is the place you'll stay comfortable and safe?" he asked. I just nodded in response. "We don't have any issues with where we'll stay because we live in Mommy Matilde's mansion, and she has already helped both me and my child so much," I said. "And they know my decision and support the path I've chosen," I added. Flashback "If that's your decision, child, we will not stop you. We are happy with your choices," Dad said to me. "Thanks, Dad, Mom," I said with a smile. "But you have to follow what we want!" Mom said, making me a bit nervous. "We want you to live in the mansion and visit our business while you're there!" she added, and I sighed in relief. "But Mom, what if they don't let me in? They don't even know me, Mom, Dad!" I said to both of them. "Don't worry; we will take care of everything," Dad assured me, easing my worries. Present "Just be careful there, and by the time we come back, maybe our little Angie will have a sibling," I laughed at his joke. "Okay, bye! I have to pack important things and Angie's stuff," I said. "You're so mean to your manager," he teased, and I just laughed. "Okay, bye! Be careful on your trip. I'll join you once I finish cleaning up your mess here, just kidding!" he said. "I'll wait for you. Bye, Eliana," I said. After hanging up, I immediately started packing my things and Angie's things because we were leaving for the Philippines tomorrow morning. THE NEXT MORNING: This morning was our flight back to the Philippines, and my child was super excited. I could see the excitement in her eyes, making me smile at her joy. Eliana would follow us after sorting out her other schedules. "Yeahhh, we’re going to the Philippines, we’re going to the Philippines!" my child exclaimed while clutching her favorite stuffed toy, Hello Kitty. As we entered the airplane, she happily sang. Once the plane took off, I glanced at my child, who suddenly fell silent. I smiled at the sight; perhaps she was so excited that she got tired and fell asleep in her seat. Hours went by, and finally, we arrived in the country that motivated me to work hard in life. 'WELCOME TO PHILIPPINES AIRLINES, WE ARE HAPPY THAT YOU ARRIVED SAFELY IN THE COUNTRY.' The greeting for all of us made me wake my child to prepare for our exit. I could see the excitement in her eyes. "Are we here?" she asked me. "Yes! Baby, so let’s go?" I replied. She stood up immediately and slung her little backpack over her shoulder. Many people noticed her beauty. If someone looked at her, she would smile back immediately. Then I spotted our driver and smiled, heading in their direction.AUTHOR NOTE: Thank you so much for your support and for following my story. Even if my writing isn't as like as others author. Chapter 122 "About the ancient artifacts, Daddy. There are so many interesting things and stories about our history," Gabriel replied, his eyes shining. "That's great! We’re proud of you, kid. You're learning so much," Angie said, hugging Gabriel tightly. "Thank you, Mommy. Thank you, Daddy," Gabriel smiled. As we chatted, we noticed the twins, Danae and Daniel, busy with their drawings. "Wow, those drawings are beautiful! What are they?" I asked, examining their work. "Mommy, Daddy, these are our drawings of the heroes we learned about in school," Danae said, showing off her artwork. "Very impressive! You’re so creative," Angie praised, gently ruffling their hair. After sharing our stories and admiring the drawings, we decided to prepare a special dinner for the family. "Come on, kids, let’s cook your favorite meal," Angie suggested as she gathered the ingredients in the kitchen. "Yay! Spaghetti and fried chicken!" the twins cheered, helping with the preparations. As we cook
Chapter 121 "That's amazing! Good luck with your presentation, son. I know you'll do great," I said, stroking Gabriel's shoulder. "Thank you, Daddy. I'll do my best," Gabriel replied, smiling. After breakfast, we took the children to school and Angie and I went to the office. "Love, are you ready for our meetings today?" I asked Angie while driving. "Yes, Love. We need to make sure everything is in order and there will be no problems," Angie replied, looking at her notes. When we arrived at the office, Mia greeted us. "Good morning, Ma'am Angie, Sir Rocky. The conference room is ready for our meeting," Mia said, arranging the documents. "Thank you, Mia. Let's go, Love. Let's get this day started," I said, leading Angie to the conference room. As we walked to the conference room, I felt the excitement and determination with every step. I knew we had a lot to do and face, but Angie and I were ready to face it all together. After a productive day at the office, Angie and I went h
Chapter 120 Rocky POV As we entered the conference room, the department heads were already there waiting. We immediately sat down and started the meeting. "Good morning, everyone. Thank you for coming. We need to discuss the new security measures we will be implementing," Angie began, looking at the staff. "First of all, we want to inform you that access to sensitive documents will now be limited to authorized personnel only. We also need to enhance the monitoring and reporting of activities in our system," I added, displaying the new policies on the projector. "Yes, Sir Rocky. We will follow the new policies. It’s really important to protect our documents," Mark, the head of the IT department, said. "Thank you, Mark. And we also want to let you know that our door is open for any questions or concerns you may have. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us," Angie said, looking at each person. After the meeting, we returned to our offices for other tasks. While busy with work, I felt my
Chapter 119 Angie POV When we arrived home, Gabriel greeted us with books and notes in hand. "Daddy, Mommy, thank you for being here. I need help with my project about heroes," Gabriel said, excitedly showing us his notes. "Sure, kiddo. We’ll help you," I replied, organizing the materials on the table. As we discussed the heroes of our country, I could feel Gabriel’s enthusiasm and passion for his project. "Mommy, who’s your favorite hero?" Gabriel asked, looking at me. "I have many favorite heroes, but one I truly admire is Jose Rizal for his intelligence and love for our country," I answered, smiling. "Wow, he’s great! What about Daddy? Who’s his favorite hero?" Gabriel asked, looking at Rocky. "Andrew Bonifacio, kiddo. Because of his bravery and determination to fight for our country’s freedom," Rocky replied, gently stroking Gabriel’s hair. "They’re both amazing, Mommy, Daddy. Thank you for your help," Gabriel said, continuing to write his notes. While we helped Gabriel w
Chapter 118 After our chat, we kissed the children and made sure they were comfortably settled in bed. "Goodnight, children. We love you very much," I said, stroking their heads. "Goodnight, Mommy. Goodnight, Daddy. We love you too," Danae and Daniel replied in unison, their eyes slowly closing. Our eldest son, Gabriel, followed us out of the room. We carefully exited so as not to wake his younger twin siblings. Once outside, Gabriel looked at us and smiled. "Mommy, Daddy, thank you for the story. It was so much fun," Gabriel said, holding my hand. "You're welcome, son. You know we love you very much," Angie said, hugging Gabriel. "Thank you, Mommy. I love you too," Gabriel replied, hugging Angie. "Gabriel, you should rest too, okay? You have a long day tomorrow," I said, stroking his back. "Yes, Daddy. Goodnight," Gabriel said, entering his room. "Goodnight, son. Sweet dreams," Angie said, stroking Gabriel's hair before he entered his room. After making sure everything was
