The soft beep of the door unlocking drew their attention as it slid open, giving them a view of the room. Seated at the center, a man occupied a chair with his back facing them.

As Abigail and Hercules entered the room with an air of confidence, the man inside seemed not to notice them. He was sitting with his jaw resting on his hands, his brow furrowed and eyes fixated on the desk in front of him.

Taking the initiative, Abigail broke the silence as she confidently proceeded toward the unoccupied chair opposite Ethan. With a sense of authority, she pulled the chair back and gracefully took a seat.

Abigail's voice was filled with sarcasm as she spoke to Ethan. "Mr. Ethan Brundeen, it's so nice to see you again," she said, her tone making it clear that she didn't mean what she said and that she had a strong dislike for him.
