CHAPTER 17 - HER DREAMS

They had dinner outside before heading back to the Dela Vega mansion. They found them waiting in the living room when they entered the villa. Marie scrutinized her from head to toe. "So you're the lucky girl who became obsessed with my brother? Hi, I'm Marie, and I'm your sister-in-law." She tries to pretend to introduce herself to her. Even though Katleah felt it, she didn't want to be affected.

"Dad, I want you to meet my wife, Katleah. That was when Marco presented her.

"How are you doing, Katleah? It's good, and you've won my son's heart."

"Aah, uncle... I'm fine. What about you? How are you doing?" She responded timidly.

"Hahaha, I'm fine; I still have a long life ahead of me. Dinner is ready, so come inside," Philip expressed his excitement.

"We already ate outside, dad; we'd like to rest in the room first," Marco explained.

"Huh really? Okay, son, I already had the maids fix and clean your old room. It's best if you rest now; we'll talk again tomorrow."
