When the service ended, the congregation began to move out of the church. Mr. Frank immediately got up from his seat and walked quickly towards Stefany and Daniel. Mrs. Emily followed behind him, hoping to defuse her husband's anger before something undesirable happened.

"Stefany," Mr. Frank called in a cold tone. "We're going home now."

Stefany stood up, looking at her father with a calm but understanding expression. "Daddy, I still want to talk to my friends and we have choir practice soon. Can I stay a little longer?"

Mr. Frank's face hardened. "No. We're going home right now," he said firmly, his eyes darting sharply towards Daniel.

Daniel, realizing the tense situation, tried to ease the atmosphere. "Good morning, Uncle Frank, Aunty Emily," he greeted politely.

"I was just accompanying Stefany during the service. There was no other intention," Daniel explained.

However, Mr. Frank was not swayed. "We don't need interference from outsiders," he replied in a cynical tone.
