AARON.
"Dad, we need to call Jake. But I don't think he can make it in an hour. " I told Jason, my mind going blank with frustration. I wanted to see Janna and at the same time, worried that Jake wouldn't make it on time.
If he doesn't make it on time, we have no other choice but to use human blood for her. I just hope her body won't reject it. But I'm desperate now. I would agree to anything just to make sure she and our baby would be okay.
"Jacob is on his way. I called them when you called me earlier. I really didn't understand when you explained how she ended up bleeding, but I was thinking if it was severe, either I or Jacob could help heal her, so he knew he needed to be here soon. If I estimated correctly, he would arrive exactly on time. But if he drove faster, then..."
