Chapter 35

ORION

I couldn't believe it. I kissed Selene again. And it was incredible just like the first time. She had pulled away from me with a smile on her face, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness. I knew I had to get her back to her room, give her space to process everything that had happened, and to be honest, I needed a moment to myself to process it too.

As I walked her back to her room, I couldn't help but replay the moment in my head. The way her lips felt against mine, the way she had leaned into the kiss, the way she had smiled when it was over. It was all so amazing.

When we reached her door, I turned to face her, feeling a little nervous all of a sudden. "I hope you have a good night, Selene," I said softly, my heart racing a little at the thought of leaving her.

She smiled at me, a warm and genuine smile that made my heart skip a beat. "You too, Orion. Thank you for walking me back."

I nodded and watched as she disappeared into her room, the door closing behind her.
