Even Xavier was stunned, thinking Landon was more than generous.

Xavier nudged Fred. "How big is your apartment in Bristlewick?"

Fred hopped out of the car, smoothing his coat. "About 1,500 square feet."

That was already considered luxurious. But Landon had just bought a 20,000-square-foot house outright. Unreal.

Landon helped Thalia out of the car and said calmly, "We decided to move here a week ago. I had Leslie pay 20% above market value to secure it. The previous owner moved out three days ago, and all the furniture is brand new."
