Dante knew that Ace had found Mj and was doing his best to keep her from leaving until he could get to her. Dante knew that there were so many things he owed Mj and from the events that had just unfolded and the information Ace was feeding him he knew answering her questions was the first thing he needed to give her. Dante didn't quite know what to do, he knew Mara was a wolf but she was rouge so his status in the pack didn't intimidate her quite as much and he wasn't sure if she knew he was an original because Earth born wolves couldn't distinguish between the scents.

Mj stirred slightly and opened her eyes, she blinked the blur away and realized she was once again in Dante’s room, she tried to sit up and her body felt heavy.
