Chapter 9 : The Dinner Part 1

Victoria's POV

Lewis held my hands and helped me calm down when the plane was experiencing turbulence.

I was so scared but having him by my side made me feel calm and I drifted off into sleep.

I was interrupted by my dreams when I heard Lewis' voice trying to wake me up.

I groaned as I stretched slightly and he offered me water to drink as my throat was dry.

We got off the plane and I breathed the beautiful Japanese air.

I was so happy that I was here and I was ready to put my Japanese skills to the test. I could use a chopsticks so that wouldn't be a big deal. I had planned to practice my Japanese speaking with anyone I met here.

Someone was already waiting for us at the airport and I guess Lewis knew him because he took our bags and led us to a car. I couldn't help but look around and see beautiful colours around me. I thanked Lewis for giving me this opportunity but he cut me off by saying we were here on business only.
