Chapter 2 More Disappointment

There was a lot of noise that night, which irritated Ritu in ways she had never thought possible. As much as she wanted to shut the mouth of her snoring husband, she wanted to feel him, to feel wanted. All Preshant did was work and sleep. It was like living with a robot, which would still be better because some robots were sex toys, and she would choose them repeatedly over the man beside her.

Soft sounds filled her ears, and she groaned in frustration. Being sex-deprived was terrible, but listening to a never-tired duo have their love fight every night was worse. This had been the case since Kapil moved in after marrying Sakshi.

Sakshi's next moan was more like a cry; Ritu knew it was not a cry for help but one she couldn't relate to, one she yearned to feel. She pressed her face deep into the pillow until she couldn't take it anymore. She sat up and brushed her thick strawberry-blonde hair out of her face. She needed a trim, but more badly, she needed someone inside her doing the same thing Kapil did to the girl in the next room.

Taking off her blue night robe, she leaned closer to her husband and kissed his hairy chest. She felt him shift as her breasts grazed his skin, and his eyes flashed open as she rubbed her hands in his body.

"What are you doing?" His eyes had a startling gaze, and he looked very unpleased.

"Make love to me," she whispered, positioning herself so he could fully view everything he wanted. However, he wanted it.

He sighed, and her anticipation was reduced to nothing, just like the previous night and the night before.

"How often do I have to tell you how exhausted I get after work? Of course, you'll never understand, but I don't have any more energy to explain it to you repeatedly." His tone had moved to a slightly annoyed one, but that was the least of Ritu's problems. She was angry; he would have noticed if his eyes weren't so clouded with sleep.

As she reclined to bed, his hands came across her, "Weekend, and I'm all yours, I promise."

He did make empty promises regarding her sexual demands, so she wasn't thrilled. Money was the only guarantee that kept her where she was involved; she always thought that was enough. Kapil changed that.

In no time, he was snoring again, this time louder than before. Ritu got up from bed in annoyance and left the room. She went to the living room and settled into a chair, but she regretted that decision as she closed her eyes and tried to force herself to sleep.

She could hear Kapil and Sakshi clearer than from her room, and her body froze. Whatever task he was carrying out on her, he was an expert on it. They spent hours at it every night, and she so much envied Sakshi. She gazed at their bedroom door and was amazed to find it slightly open. There was just a little space, and Ruth found her eyes stuck on it. Slowly, she got up and moved stealthily towards the door, and even though every part of her told her she should leave, her feet were glued to the ground.

It wasn't so bright inside the room; the dim lights were the only ones up, but she could make out everything happening. It was clear from her position that she couldn't be seen when they were both drunk in sex, so she leaned in and looked.

Sakshi was underneath her husband, her head buried deep in the sheets, and her hands gripped the headboard so tight that Ritu was convinced it would leave marks. Kapil was on his knees above her, taking her violently from behind while both his hands cupped her breasts, his fingers tugging at her nipples.

Ritu repeatedly swallowed at the sight in front of her, and she could feel her legs tremble; she leaned into the wall to maintain her balance. Sakshi was calling his name repeatedly, but he didn't stop. His pace never slowed; he was focused on her, pleading with his woman, and he did so until she came in a great release.

Ritu watched Sakshi's fingers slowly slide down the wooden bed frame and onto the bed while Kapil intensified his ride until he crashed beside her seconds later. They were both breathing very hard, and he turned her over and kissed her. It was the most extended kiss Ritu had ever experienced. Sakshi was tired at first, but she later picked up with him.

He soon withdrew, and Ritu thought it was over until she saw his head bend as he took Sakshi's nipple into his mouth. Ritu decided she had seen enough and backed away. She could feel the moisture between her legs as she returned to the room and her sleeping husband.

In no time, the moans resumed, and Ritu cursed into the night. It was going to be a long one.

=======

There was something about being an Indian woman that Ritu always looked out for; she had spent her teenage years learning all about a man's needs and how to satisfy them. Aside from the gossip and informal pieces of training, she had gone the extra mile, reading erotic books and watching videos on the internet, and she could swear in any temple that she was an expert. She always wanted to be the perfect wife, always wanted her husband never to leave her for another woman, and she had worked hard to get there only to get rewarded with a husband who saw the world very differently from how she did.

Disappointed is not enough word to describe how she felt. She almost didn't believe this was the life she was living, but she had learned to put up with it. Although her sex life was a joke, getting married to Dr. Preshant Ekansh, the minister of health, did bring her everything she needed: the money, the jewellery, the reputation, the power, and the comfort. At some point, she was okay living that way, but when her stepdaughter got married, Ritu knew she needed more.

Thirty-two and hot, she could make any man fall. Her beauty was wild. She was the centre of attention in any room she entered, and she had a dress sense that appreciated every inch of her sexy frame. She wore long hair, and people gaped whenever it swept her saree blouse as she walked.

Of course, Sakshi was a strong enough competition, too; she was dashing and had the perfect curves men found appealing, but there was no measuring up to Ritu. It then made Ritu wonder why she was jealous of the girl who was supposedly her daughter. She soon found her answer, and it was the handsome brown-haired Kapil who worked as a bank manager and was a satisfying husband. She had to give him a plus. A woman's moans said a lot about her man, and those of Sakshi's were real and made Ritu's skin shiver every time they rang across the house.

She knew she was losing her patience with her husband, and if he didn't get his act together, she knew she would be looking for the same services elsewhere in no time.

*******

She cast side glances at Sakshi as she stirred the soup in the put repeatedly.

"Is there any problem, mom?" Sakshi asked after a moment of ignoring her stares.

Ritu faked a smile. "All good. How was work?"

Sakshi dropped the vegetables she was chopping and turned to her. "You're not going to believe this. Xavier discovered duplicate transactions made for many receipts. There's a thief in my company, and I do not know how to start an investigation."

Scoffing, Ritu replied, "Well, you better figure something out before you get completely robbed."

"I know, I know, it's just..." Her phone began buzzing, and she moved to pick it up but turned away when she saw the caller. "We're going through a lot of reformation at the moment, and I wasn't expecting anything of the sort."

"Yeah, I guess most expectations are just that... Expectations" She smiled and looked up at Sakshi when her phone rang again. "Aren't you going to pick that up?"

"No, no, it's nothing. Just work." She dragged the 'work' so long as it was buying time to think of her following statement. "I wanted to take a break from that and just focus on family, for real.'

Kapil was soon home, and while Sakshi set the table, Ritu picked up her phone and called Preshant, informing him his dinner was ready and how long it would take him to be home.

She sighed as she dropped the phone and moved to the table to join Sakshi in dressing.

"Dad's not coming home?" Sakshi asked.

Nodding, Ritu replied in the most boring tone, "Something about work and an operation."

Sakshi clicked her tongue. "He's so hardworking, always out there saving lives. I think of him as a hero."

Ritu stared at her, and for a brief moment, she wanted to put her fist through her because what kind of man cared more about strangers than the lady in his bed every night? But instead, she maintained a calm countenance and said, "Yeah, he is amazing."

She noticed the happy flow of conversation between the couple who sat with her during dinner, and Ritu held back tears. Theirs was real love, and she hadn't experienced that in her entire life. He occasionally rubbed Sakshi's arms while they laughed and sometimes whispered words into her ears. They talked about work, the latest news, and gossip and finally parted ways for the night. Kapil and Sakshi went to their room for a beautiful night, and she went to her listening game that night with no snoring husband by her side.

  • Lies And Betrayal   Chapter 520 The Hidden Potential

Rediscovering luxury amidst the ashes of aviation..Rahul and Karen stood shoulder-to-shoulder on the edge of the sprawling, dust-choked Arizona desert. The dry, furnace-like heat was a physical presence, pressing down on them, a vast, silent, and crushing weight. It was the kind of heat that baked the air and drew the moisture from the skin, leaving a fine layer of grit on the tongue. As they gazed upon the Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG)—better known by its evocative, almost mythical moniker: 'The Boneyard'—the silence was broken only by the thin, high whistle of the desert wind weaving through the empty cabins of the retired jets and the distant, mechanical groan of a crane operating miles away. This was a massive, practically apocalyptic landscape. Hundreds of retired aircraft—a staggering, two-mile-wide collection of military and commercial history—sat silently in the sun-baked, high-desert air. The metallic scent of sun-baked aluminium and stale hydraulic f

A Risky Proposition: Business and Pleasure in the Aftermath.Satisfied with her impromptu display, Karen finally slowed, giving him a genuinely tired, happy smile that reached her eyes. She tossed a luxurious cashmere wrap—another purchase—onto the massive bed's foot. "Right," she sighed contentedly. "Let's unpack these shoes. I have a feeling they deserve their own welcome ceremony." She turned towards the walk-in closet where several boxes lay waiting."The shoes," he finally said, his voice a low, gravelly counterpoint to her high energy. He quickly reached her, preventing her from moving to the closet. Gently cupping her face, he pulled her close, their breaths mingling. With a small, confident smile, his mouth grazed her lips. "They can wait," he murmured intensely. "This is non-negotiable. I must have you, Karen.""Oh, Rahul," Karen moaned deeply, the last vestiges of her initial playful resistance dissolving into an eager, reciprocal passion that ignited the air between them.

Forging a Future from the Past in the World of Sustainable Hospitality*.Rachna lifted her head from Rahul’s shoulder, her eyes alight with renewed entrepreneurial fire. Their lovemaking had clearly recharged her mental engines. "The boneyard, Rahul! Exactly! The problem isn’t finding the aircraft; it’s the logistics of acquisition, decommissioning sign-offs, and initial structural assessments. We need a partner who understands the legal and logistical labyrinth of retired airframes better than anyone."She reached for her phone again, her fingers flying across the screen, already drafting a message. "I’m thinking of Karen. She and Bong have been looking for a major pivot. Karen has the procurement network, and Bong is brilliant at repurposing non-traditional structures. Remember the train cars they converted into that pop-up office park in Seattle?""Karen… that’s genius," Rahul agreed, tapping her affectionately on the nose. "She’s tenacious, and she knows how to turn bureaucracy i

Rachna and Rahul have a wonderful shock .The intimate silence of the Concorde Suite was broken by a polite, almost tentative knock on the brass-plated door. Rahul glanced at Rachna, a question in his eyes.“Expected room service?” she whispered, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.He shook his head, pulling his silk dressing gown tighter. “Definitely not. Skipper was more interested in his paperback than in us.”Rahul opened the door to find not Skipper, but a striking couple in their late forties standing outside. The man, tall with hands that spoke of honest labour, wore a faded denim shirt and a cap that read ‘Elias – Certified Dreamer.’ The woman beside him, with a warm, open face and kind eyes, wore a simple yet elegant linen dress.“Rachna and Rahul?” Elias asked, a broad, genuine smile creasing his face. “I’m Elias, and this is my wife, Anna. We’re the owners of this little circus.”Rachna, who had quickly joined Rahul, extended her hand, her surprise giving way to immed

A Rendezvous Above the Clouds. The applause that followed Rachna and Karen's closing remarks was a roaring torrent of appreciation, but for Rachna, it was the signal for a different kind of departure. The formality of the day, the incessant flash of cameras, and the weight of a successful inauguration had reached their limit. She exchanged a knowing glance with Rahul, a silent, electric communication that spoke of shared anticipation and a need for quiet solitude. The luncheon in the elegant marquee provided the perfect cover for their escape. While Suman's culinary masterpieces and the vibrant networking filled the air, Rachna and Rahul slipped away with practised ease. They moved through the periphery of the crowd, past the bustling media "vultures" still documenting the grandeur of the "Unity" aircraft's launch, a symbol of collaboration that now felt wonderfully irrelevant to their personal agenda. They found their waiting vehicle, a sleek, unassuming sedan, far from the main pro

  • Lies And Betrayal   Chapter 515 Pioneering the Future of Aviation

Transforming Air into Liquid, Sustainable Innovations and Their Impact on the Industry. The pinnacle of the tour was the visit to the liquid air section, a specialised area dedicated to one of the most crucial aspects of pneumatics. Here, high-tech compressors, expanders, and cutting-edge simulation tools worked harmoniously to produce liquid air from compressed air.Jyoti welcomed the visitors and unveiled the remarkable concept of converting air into liquid air. She explained with passion and expertise, "The aircraft engines produce enormously compressed air, which we bleed for cabin pressurisation. Besides, the ambient air at cruise altitude is sub-zero. By ingeniously exploiting these conditions, engineers can produce liquid air and store it onboard the aircraft.”
