Finally, after much anticipation, the day finally came and Belle was feeling elated and healthier than ever; she was very happy to be opportuned to save Roman's granddaughter.
She was unable to save her sister and parents because it was beyond her power but she could save this girl and she would. She was doing this for two reasons; to wipe the sadness of Roman's face and to clear her conscience. It was a little bit selfish but she was only human. If she managed to save this girl, at least she would be less sad and self-reproached about not being able to save her family.
Belle got up as early as 6am and the transfusion was slated for 3pm but she didn't mind, she was ready to wait it out. She'd never donated blood before because she'd never even thought about it until she heard about the girl's condition.
