Chapter 3

Aria White-

ANGELO ROMANO.

That was his name, the scary man from the restaurant who happens to be her boss,

Aria found out that he was a very popular man and a very grumpy man too. A lot of people said that they have never seen him smile before or that he hardly talks.

All he does is glare and groan at people like an Alpha Wolf.

Aria's heart is still racing a bit after her encounter with the boss. As she tries to refocus on her work, she can't help but wonder about him. Who is he, and why did he come to the office?

She feels like there's a mystery to be solved, and she's determined to find out more about him. While she works, she keeps glancing toward the boss's office, hoping to catch another glimpse of him. But all she sees is his office door, closed and impenetrable. 

All those thoughts made Aria hungry.

As she walks to the food counter, she can feel her stomach growling and her mouth watering at the thought of a tasty meal. When she gets to the counter.

There's a display case full of all kinds of cakes, from cupcakes to layer cakes, cheesecakes, and everything in between. It's almost too much to choose from, but Aria has to make a decision. 

She was busy thinking about what to pick when she noticed a figure near her.

"Trouble?" A deep rich voice asked her

Aria let out a breath before saying, "Yes, I'm really hungry but I don't know what to pick" She said in a whisper

Then she heard a deep chuckle making her look up, Aria looked up and saw that it was the same man from the restaurant.

she felt a mixture of confusion, surprise, and maybe even a little bit of fear. After all, he was a bit intimidating, with his gruff demeanor and scruffy appearance. But she couldn't deny that something was intriguing about him, and she found herself wanting to know more.

"Let's try the chocolate cake, hmm?" He said before picking up the cake. 

He divided it into two Before turning back to her. "Say Ah." 

Aria is feeling nervous and a little flustered, but she can't help but feel intrigued by this mysterious man.  She's never met anyone quite like him before, and there was something about him that makes her feel a little bit alive, a little bit excited. Against her better judgment, she parts her lips slightly and says "Ah..."

The mysterious man leans in close and drops the cake gently in her mouth, then brushes a strand of hair out of her face, tucking it behind her ear. His touch is soft and gentle, and she finds herself holding her breath.

After he gently tucks the strand of hair behind her ear, the mysterious man holds the cake up to her lips again, and he looks at her intently.  There's an intensity in his gaze that she's never experienced before, and she feels frozen in place. 

Aria's heart is racing, and she's unsure what to do. The mysterious man is still holding the cake, and his gaze is unwavering.  Then, he speaks, and his voice is low and raspy.  He says."You have cake on your face." 

Aria felt shy and scared because people were looking at them.  The mysterious man noticed, and he takes her to a more private place, away from the crowd. 

As they walked, Aria could hear people mumbling here and there.

She bites her lips hard, trying to stop her body from shaking.

She had no idea why he was here.

She had no idea he was her boss, she always taught her boss stays in another country or something.

Why him, and he is the same man she met at the restaurant.

If anything, she would call this fate.

Because she had no idea, why she had never come across this Man before.

Or maybe it's cause she always reading a book.

Or maybe it's cause she's always wearing a hoodie.

Elizabeth had once told her that because of the hoodies she wears.

Some people thinks she's a boy..

But that didn't make sense to Aria because her hair are always out, and she was short.

"Uhm, sir, where are we going?" She asked him, but her boss said nothing and continued walking.

Aria tried to match his footsteps but his long legs where hard to follow.

They took turns by turns before getting to a hallway.

"Wait here ." Was all he said before walking into a room.

Leaving Aria alone.

Her mind clouded with what could happen.

Is he going to fire me? She thought before shaking her head from any negative thing.

This is the only job giving her enough money for her needs.

With this job, she's done for.

Well she might just go work for peter, but that won't be enough for her rent.

"Alright, let's go." Her boss came out, giving her a set of papers.

She looked down at it confusedly before walking by his side.

A phone on his hand as he spoke to someone.

Aria didn't know if she wanted to run away but if she did, she would kiss her job goodbye.

So she acted like a good girl and followed him.

"Can you wait here, I need to grab something else?" Her boss asked with a raised eyebrow.

He knows she can't say no, but he just wanted to look at her.

"Uhm sure, I'll wait." She said before looking at the ground.

When she heard the door close, she look up from the ground.

Again her mind told her to just walk away, maybe if she didn't come to work for two days, he could forget who she is.

She looked down at the files that he gave to her, her breath stopped when it was her name she saw on it.

"Oh no, no no no." Aria whispered as she looked at the files with shaking hands.

She was so done.

"Why would he want my files?" She asked herself before letting a soft breath.

"Breath, Aria just breathe." She said to herself.

Trying to calm down before she fainted here.

"Alright let's go, and please give me the files." Her boss said.

Aria nods her head before Giving him her files.

Her eyes still connected to the ground afraid to look at him.

With that they walked to God knows where.
