Chapter 24

Stanley was flabbergasted. It took him a moment to process what Wilbur had just said and burst out laughing.

He gave Wilbur a murderous stare. "Young man, do you know who this guy here is? He's Lightning Hank, the head of the Black Tiger Gang! They run Seechertown's underground scene. I think you don't understand what's going on here."

"The Black Tiger Gang? Lightning Hank?" Wilbur asked calmly. He then added, "I've never heard of them."

Those words made Stanley lose his cool. Just as he was about to shout back at Wilbur, Lightning Hank said, "What a stubborn little guy! You don't know who I am? I guess I'll just have to show you today."

Faye hurried to say, "Sir, please don't! You just want money, right? I can give you as much of it as you want. Please don't hurt us. We can talk this through."

Lightning Hank retorted coldly. "Why would I need to talk things through with you? You think that the Cape Consortium is that powerful, do you? You're in Seechertown, and I'm the boss
