The Unknown

It was dark all around and I could hear some whispers around me. It seemed as if they were calling me, but they took a name not known to me.

“Macy, Macy, wake up.”, they said in chorus. I tried to open my eyes and all I could think of was, who is this Macy? Is there someone else here with me?

“I can’t open my eyes. I just can’t”. I panicked. Then I felt a warm hand on my shoulder. Trying to calm me down.

“It’s okay. Don’t panic. It is all good and you are fine.”, a voice said. That voice seemed too familiar but yet I couldn’t remember who did it belong to.

“But my eyes. they feel glued to each other.”, I said.

“Don’t try too hard to open them. Feel the power inside and try to open your eyes by feeling at peace on the inside.”, the voice said.

I calmed myself down and relaxed the muscles of my eyes. I tried to calm my thoughts, and my fears and I started thinking about something peaceful, Lee.

“Try opening them now.”, she said.

I did as I was told and finally light entered into my eyes
