Chapter Twenty-Six

"Thank you," I said to Aliya as she handed me a mug of green tea. It did well to help with my hurting chest.

As Aliya walked away from the living room, I calmly stood up and headed towards the window. I could see the training ground from where I stood. The training ground had two segments, the male and female. The male side was split up into different sections. There was a place for swordsmanship, where the warriors had the opportunity to be sparring partners with some of the best swordsmen in the pack. There was a place for hand to hand combat. There was a place for archery, where surprisingly Julian's younger sisters, the twins — Grace and Grimes, were in charge of overseeing the activities in that section. The twins had arrived in the kingdom yesterday, after their brother made them drop out of the archery competition because of the sudden news of the werebies arrival.
