17 - In Desperate Need Of Me
Alex's POV;
I stare down at Amos in horror. I stoop down beside him and my hands travel about his battered face in confusion as I don't know what to do.
"Oh, my God, Amos. I'm so sorry. I don't know what came over him. I'm... I'm so sorry. " I beg as tears form in my eyes. Damon was never a beast when I was married to him or when we were dating. The side of Damon I saw today, is one I've never seen, and hope to never see again.
"What happened here? " A guard questions as they rush to the scene. Tears slide down my face as they help Amos who's now weak, to stand.
I battle to hold back tears as one of the guards calls for an ambulance.
Damon's POV;
I'm fuming with anger and annoyance as I get into my vehicle. I was brought here to relax, but now my temper is far into space.
Why on earth would Alex be with another man!? What does he have that I don't!?

Alex's POV; I wake up to Amos's grunt. I slept sitting beside his hospital bed. He smiles at me, and I smile back. We're both just waking up. Damon's POV; I woke up this morning with a heavy heart. I fully remember last night. I wasn't drunk when I got intimate with my assistant, but she let me. what's more, when I woke up, she wasn't beside me. She had gone. Is she mad at me? or is she okay with what happened? Alex's POV; Amos is getting discharged tomorrow, and right now, I'm in my house. I came to get some work done, and hopefully, get proper sleep on my bed. Alex's POV; Amos got discharged today, and I'm happy to help. He got a nurse though, but I have decided to stay at his place to help him fully recover. He didn't let me know what the doctor said had happened to him, and there's no way on earth the doctor will tell me what his patient has asked him to conceal. Alex's POV; I've been very busy the last few days, and my work as a designer has only been bringing more to my plate. Right now, I'm on my way to a deport spot, to get the fabrics that were delivered for me. I never thought much of getting an assistant to help me with my work, as I was not yet that big in the fashion industry, and I wasn't doing enough to need a P.A However, after joining Amos's fashion house, things have taken a sharp turn in the opposite direction.
