MasukLIAM’S POV The news spread within a twinkle of an eye. The rumor was everywhere that a transferred student is competing with the overall star player in the school to win the student president position. We both are so eager to bring each other down, to the point that we couldn't wait for the next day to come, but rather, the challenge was announced immediately after our encounter. Honestly, competing with Garvin to become the student president was the last thing I could ever think of. But that was the only way I could bring him closer to me… all my effort trying to have his attention has been failing…. So, I needed to get something from him that would make him succumb to me. It seems, history has it that, Garvin is a good basketball player , so am I. But, this is the only chance I would have to fulfill my mission… “I'm not going to let my guard down and allow him win this”. I muttered under my breath, as I went into the changing room. Immediately I got into the room, I saw Ga
LIAM’S POV I want our first encounter to be unforgettable. The kind that makes him go home and all he could do is to think about me. I could see the mixed expression on his face, as I smirked and went straight to the clearance office. “Good morning,Sir”. I greeted, immediately I entered the office. The office was well arranged. A work place with a welcoming atmosphere. A wooden desk sits at the center, neatly arranged with organized folders, laptops and a little decoration plant. “Good morning, young man! how may I help you?”. He asked. “I’m a transfer candidate, I’m here to complete my physical Clearance”. I responded, showing him my identification card. He raised his eyebrows up to scan the whole of my body, before proceeding “can I have your vitals?” He asked.. “ yes, sir” i replied, bringing out my documents and handed them over to him. He looked at it before speaking. “Liam Jeremy, you will receive an email later today for your class schedule”. He stated instructively
LIAM’S POV We have been staying together for months now, after Olivia’s mom passed away. My dad decided that I and my mom move down to where Olivia is, to keep her in check for her well being. Olivia and I don’t really have a close relationship. She avoids me and my mother, because she thinks my mother was the cause of her predicament. I won’t blame her for that , if i was in that same shoe, I would do the same. Most times, I feel pity for her, that my dad abandoned her mother because of my mom and I. That’s is why I’m always looking out for her, ensuring she has the best of it all, even though there’s no much connection between us. It was Saturday evening, where we all come together to eat and talk to each other as a family. My Father always ensure we keep to that regardless of how busy we are. Yes, my parents are workaholic, but not as much as not having time for us… we were all downstairs, mum was preparing dinner. Olivia walked in without saying a word to anyone, her face l
GARVIN’S POV I sat on the bed thinking about how I would break up with Olivia, my girlfriend in college. Olivia and I have been dating since the beginning of my sophomore year in high school, and I’m currently in my senior year. Honestly, i have never had a lasting relationship, not until Olivia came into the picture. I only dated girls just to feel among my peers, and eventually leaving them in weeks later, which made it feels like I’m after sex…. Well, I won’t argue against that… I grew up in an unemotional home, where everyone lives beyond their emotions. My parents are business oriented, practical people, they don’t believe in emotions or soft words, they raised me like an investment…. And provided everything i needed to live, except a reason to feel alive. This makes me believe that people only love what I have, not who I’m…. Why not?! I am the popular, rich, attractive, star player, confident, everyone’s favorite athlete who no girls can resist. Olivia is an amazing g
