Steve's POV

As I walked back toward the mansion, a single, dangerous thought kept echoing in my head—I had waited too long to have Sienna. Maybe this was finally my chance to make her mine. By any means necessary.

I was going to do it.

The image of her—smiling, radiant, out of my reach for so long—kept flashing in my mind. This time, I wouldn’t let her slip away.

When I stepped through the front door of Denver’s mansion, I was greeted by the faint clinking of plates. Mama was in the dining area cleaning up, clearly just finished with their meal. Her face lit up when she saw me.

“Oh, Steve, you're only just getting back?” she asked with concern in her voice. Her warm smile stirred guilt in my chest. I almost wished she hadn’t been discharged from the hospital yet—so she wouldn’t witness what I was about to do.

I’m sorry, Mama... for everything I’m about to become. I just love Sienna too much.

She looked at me kindly. “Where did you go, anak?”

I didn’t answer. I didn’t want to lie—but I

I slowly opened the box sitting on my lap. Inside was a simple silver necklace with a delicate rose pendant hanging in the center. My breath hitched. It was beautiful.Elegant. Thoughtful. My heart skipped a beat. Was this really for me?“For me?” I asked in disbelief, my voice a mere whisper.“Yes,” Denver answered, his voice calm and warm. “I had it made. To remind you of your favorite flower.”I blinked. My heart swelled with emotion, but a wave of hesitation quickly followed. “I… I can’t accept this. It must’ve cost a lot.”“Don’t worry about the price,” he said softly. “Just accept it. Please.”I stared at the necklace again, my fingers trembling slightly as I picked it up. I was about to fasten it around my neck, but he gently stopped me.“Let me,” he offered, reaching out to take the necklace from my hands.I froze for a second. Did time just slow down?“Turn your back,” he said. I obeyed without a word, lifting my long hair out of the way so he could fasten the chain. His fin

★ Sienna’s POV★After cleaning up Denver’s wound, I went upstairs to check on Kuya Steve. But before I could reach his room, I bumped into Mama on the stairs.“Ma, how’s Kuya?” I asked softly.“He’s in his room already,” she replied.“Ah, I see. I’ll go talk to him for a bit,” I said, about to head up again. But Mama stopped me gently. “No, anak. Let him rest. He said he wants to be alone for now. Go take care of Denver instead—you two have a flight to catch.”Her hand softly combed through my hair as we descended the stairs together. I didn’t argue anymore. Maybe Kuya really did need time alone. But still... I couldn’t help but worry. Our luggage was already set by the door. I decided to head to the kitchen for a moment, just to calm myself down. When I returned, I saw Denver talking to Mama again.“Are we leaving now?” I asked as I walked closer to them. They both stopped their conversation as soon as I approached. I wasn’t sure if I was imagining it, but it felt like they were talk

★ Sienna’s POV ★A loud, cracking thud echoed through the hallway as Denver’s fist slammed into Kuya Steve’s jaw, sending him crashing to the floor.“Kuya!” I cried out, immediately rushing to his side.Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. He didn’t say a word—he just held his face, eyes burning with a mixture of pain and fury.I turned to Denver, whose jaw was clenched tight, his eyes fixed sharply on Kuya like a man still on edge, ready to throw another punch. What… what is going on?“What is wrong with you, Steve?!” Mama’s voice rang out from near the doorway, furious and frightened all at once. But Kuya wasn’t done.He sprang back up and lunged—this time landing a heavy punch across Denver’s cheek.“Stop it! Stop!” I shouted as the two men exchanged brutal blows, fists flying, faces tightening in pain and rage. The sound of shattering ceramics filled the room—vases had fallen from the side table.“Sir!” Manong Tasyo came running and jumped between the two, trying to break

Sienna’s POV“Thanks… but I think I’ll drink this later,” I told Kuya Steve, trying to sound as casual as possible as I took the glass of milk from his hand.I stood up and gently placed the glass on the small table beside my bed, forcing a smile. Something in me didn’t feel right. It wasn’t that I didn’t trust my brother, but there was an odd tightness in my chest I couldn’t explain.“So, where did you go, Kuya?” I asked, walking back toward Mama who was sitting on the bed with me.“Yes, you didn’t answer us earlier,” Mama added with a concerned tone. “Is something wrong, Steve?”Kuya Steve let out a deep breath before walking toward us and sitting beside Mama. His eyes avoided mine at first, then he spoke, calm and soft.“I just visited a friend… Sorry for earlier, I was just tired,” he said, giving a small smile.I felt myself relax a bit. I thought something terrible had happened. He looked okay—well, as okay as Kuya could look these days.“You worried us,” Mama said, still a litt

“Mama, the food’s ready,” I called out gently as I peeked into the living room. I smiled when I saw her sitting comfortably on the couch, completely absorbed in her K-drama. Figures—she’s really my mother. I definitely got my obsession from her. I walked to the dining area where the plates and utensils were neatly arranged. Denver was already seated, scrolling through something on his phone. He looked up and gave me a soft smile. “Manang, please join us too,” I invited one of the helpers kindly. Denver and I had cooked plenty of food earlier, and it felt wrong not to share it with everyone in the house. I sat beside Denver while Mama settled across from us. I immediately scooped some rice onto a plate for her. “What happened to your finger, anak?” she asked, eyes narrowing with concern as she noticed the bandage. “I just cut it while chopping onions,” I answered with a sheepish smile and continued serving food. “It’s nothing serious.” Soon, we all started eating. There wasn’t muc
