Chapter Forty-Nine

It was 11:30 in the night when Isabella reached home. She unloaded her luggage with the cab driver's help and paid him. Turning towards her old home, a wave of nostalgia hit her. Nothing had changed. The house was exactly how it was five years back. Taking a deep breath, she walked up towards the main door and pressed the doorbell, and waited, holding her breath unconsciously. 

Hudson had just gone into the kitchen to get a bottle of water when the doorbell rang. Thinking it to be Weston, he went to open the door. Cody's dad had a fall and was admitted to the hospital. Weston was with Cody the whole day at the hospital. Hudson had also gone to the hospital to see him but he returned home an hour back.
