"What? You're getting married again? Who is it this time?" Yvonne was utterly stunned by this.

"Well, it doesn't matter anymore, because the engagement fell through!"

Yvonne was more than relieved to hear that. "Honestly, I'm glad it fell through. You've always been hopeless at choosing men, so I think it's best you stay single for a while first."

"Yes, thank you, Ma'am. I promise I'll let you weigh in the next time I try to settle down."

"It doesn't change anything because you refuse to listen to what I say. When I tried to warn you about Spencer, you didn't listen to me. You were drowning in blind affection, and you even threatened to cut me off because of that!"
