Kyas POV

After knowing Caleb was still out there sleep did not come that night. I sat the entire night with Vivi in Alpha Max's office thinking deeply about Caleb and his motives. After thinking for a long while I came to the realization...Who cares what he wants?

I deserve anyone better than a man like him. He left me to die. He laughed at my pain. It’s been a couple of days since the attack but his scent still feels so fresh in my head.

I cannot help but keep asking myself ‘Why did he come here… why did he come for me?’ As if rejecting me wasn't enough he comes here with rouges? Maybe he's looking for revenge for his father and pack? Thats it! How could I think he would come for me? Sometimes I ponder my sanity.

Alpha Max hasn’t been back to the pack house since the attack. Vivi said he’s caught Caleb’s trail and refuses to return until he finds out his hiding location. Becoming close with Vivi these last couple of days has been very nice, I've never been treated like a real p
