Chapter 29: Deal is a Deal

Inside a spacious and luxurious private room, the apricot curtains billowed upwards as the wind blew through an opened French window.

The bright sun's rays spilled through the window and onto the marble floor. It looked as if the floor was covered in silver frost.

Mary, Everly, and Dr. Lee sat at a four-seater table. They are located on the second floor of the restaurant, where they can overlook the beautiful scenery outside.

Everly introduced Mary. "Dr. Lee, this is my personal assistant, Mary. Mary, this is Dr. Hans Lee."

"Hi, Dr. Lee" Mary shyly said. There's a bit of blush on her cheeks. Everly docilely smiled at Dr. Lee.

She secretly hit her assistant's hands under the table and said in a low voice, "What are you doing?"

Mary lowered her eyes and answered in a whisper. "He is so handsome in person, miss."

A low chuckle came. Both Everly and Mary raised their heads. She saw Dr. Lee's lips curved up.

Dr. Lee noticed their gaze. "Sorry, it's not my intention to eavesdrop."
