When Claire, Nicholas’ secretary went on to take a sabbatical, she voiced her opinion of giving her to Wendy Bert, the intern who was actually quite good. She was competent and hard working which impressed Claire, so she recommended Wendy to her boss.

Claire had been working for Nicholas since he took on the role of CEO. So it was obvious that the person she recommended must be good.

After Wendy was given this opportunity to be Nicholas’ temporary secretary a few months ago, it was like Wendy was another person. Her whole demeanor changed rapidly. When she was interning she was very good with her colleagues and her superiors. After becoming the temporary secretary, she did not indulge or spend time with her colleagues in the office. She became someone who her colleagues wanted to avoid when they wanted to meet the CEO. She was very mean to women who had appointments to meet the CEO.

She was the reason why the HR department could not find another secretary for the CEO. She had cancele
