Chapter three

"Hey, I heard it's because your sister pushed you that's why you attempted to kill her, is that true?" A girl approached me and asked, I just walked away.

It's lunchtime and I'm exhausted, I can't count the number of people that have walked up to me questioning me about how I became the way she is.

"So did you try to murder your sis because she's hotter than you?" The school slut asked.

"For the millionth time no!!" She spat on my face as I said this.

"Don't ever raise your voice at me again, you're a lonely loser, you're not even pretty and you think you can yell at me." With that, she walked away.

"Hey." I heard someone say.

"Go away!" I yelled not bothering to see who it was, I slammed my locker and went to my next class, it's still lunchtime so I'll just sit here....alone.

"Hi." Someone greeted and I rolled my eyes so hard I felt it touch the back of my head.

"What do you want?!" I asked glaring at her.

"Nothing, I've seen you and you don't have any friends—"

"Thanks for the friendly reminder." I got up and sat in another seat.

"That's not what I meant, you didn't let me finish." I mentally groan at her as she took a seat next to me.

"You don't have a friend and neither do I so we could be friends?" She asked with a friendly smile, this is a trap I've experienced this an umpteenth time, bitches will befriend me make me think they are nice and trustworthy, I'll open up to them, and boom they stab me in the back not going to happen this time, this time I've learned my lesson and once-beaten twice shy or in my case umpteenth time beaten multiple umpteenth times shy.

"I'm not interested," I said simply.

"But I'd like to—"

"I said I'm not interested or didn't you hear me." I gave her loads of attitude hoping she'll go away.

"Okay, sorry to bother you. I'm Melody by the way."

"Didn't ask, don't care." She slowly got up and walked away.

"Did you hear?" She said, I let out a loud groan.

"There is this rumor that I heard about werewolves and I can bet you that they are real, I know I sound crazy but—"

"Werewolf same werewolf! Whether they are real or not I couldn't care less, wait why are you telling me this in the first place." She seriously shouldn't try so hard.

"You look like a—"

"I know, a troll you don't have to complete it." She opened her mouth to say something but decided against it.

"You have a great shape, your body is killer just that you're ugly and we can easily fix that, with surgery." Without further ordo, I got up and exited the class.

I pray never to meet a person like her ever again.

"Wait up!!" I heard someone call after me, I turned to see who it was. Of course, it was that melody girl.

"I was just joking and you walked out on me, that was very rude and insulting, I'm trying to be your friend and this is how you behave." I wanted to throw an insult at her but decided against it, looks like I've not learned my lesson after all.

"I'm sorry, it's just people pretending to be my friend all the time, and just when I accept them and let them in they betray me, I don't want that," I said honestly hoping she'll understand and leave me alone.

"We could be just friends, not best friends that do everything together.....yet." I let out a sign. She brought her hand forward with her palm open, I took her hand. I guess I could be friends with this dark-haired girl with electrifying emerald eyes, now that I take a good look at her, we were both short but I was a bit taller than her.

"I'm Alexia."

"Nice name, although I already know who you are, Alexia Miller, you're quite famous," she said as we both headed to my favorite spot in the school "where are we headed to?"

"The oak tree behind the school." It's my favorite place in the school. It gives me a sense of peace and reassurance.

"I love nature too, it's calm and soothing. What's your favorite color?"

"Grolsch, yours?"

"Kale."

"What's your favorite animal?"

"What's these twenty questions?" I asked as we reached the back of the school.

"Maybe, just answer."

"I'll have to think about it....deers."

"Yeah? Nice."

"What do you do in your free time?" Well since this is twenty questions it's a chance to get to know her better.

"I love hiking, bowling, and her skating."

"Oh cool. I've never been bowling or hiking or skating."

"Wow?" She looked truly surprised, we took a sit by the tree, I felt at peace here.

"Well for obvious reasons I don't go out much, the only places I go to are a school, home, and once in a while the mall, and I make sure I'm wearing a face mask."

"That's sad."

"I know. So are you new or what?"

"You could say that, well I left lavis high a couple of months ago and now I'm back?"

"Oh, where did you go?" Curiosity kills the cat.

"It's my turn to ask the question," oh so that was a question "who's your all-time crush?" She asked wiggling her brows.

"I'd be lying if I say I don't have one, I do but I won't tell you 'cause you could let the cat out of the bag." I chuckled.

"Aww, I'd like to know." She pouted.

"Too bad. So why were you in rehab?" She paused and looked at the ground, maybe she has a mental problem or she smokes, or something like that.

"I'm anorexic." She finally said after a few minutes of hesitation. I brought out my phone and tapped on g****e.

"Sorry one second." 'Meaning of Anorexic' I typed into my phone and g****e brought out the meaning.

"You know you could just ask me what it means."

"Shhh, it'll make you uncomfortable and it'll be awkward after."

Anorexia: an emotional disorder characterized by an obsessive desire to lose weight by refusing to eat.

"So you don't eat because you're scared of gaining weight?" That's like the dumbest thing I've ever heard but of course, I won't tell her that.

"Yes, it's stupid I know." Not only is it stupid, but it's also dumb. Food is life, food fixes everything and she doesn't like food. I'm starting to rethink our friendship.

"So you went to rehab so you'll start eating or what?"

"It's my turn to ask, I'll ask twice 'cause you did too. So were you born this way?"

"Yes, pitifully."

"Indeed. Also are you a virgin?"

"Isn't that obvious?"

"Hmmm."

"So about your anorexia, you're no longer anorexic right?"

"I still am it's just I don't fill the urge anymore."

"Urge?"

"I'm next."

"Oh right, yeah."

"What do you want to become in the future?" That one took me by surprise.....slightly.

"I've not thought about it, well I love writing so I'd love to become an author one day."

"Cool, can I see some of your work?"

"I'm next to ask a question." I smiled and she chuckled, that's how we continued till the bell signaling lunch over rang.
