Instead of going to the hotel, Lemar asked his driver to take him home. He needed to see his parents and apologize properly, he had wronged them deeply.

As he sat in the car, staring out the window, he couldn’t shake the hurt and disappointment in his mother’s voice that lingered in his mind. Not once had he given them any reason to feel this way, yet here he was, all because he had been too trusting.
