CHAPTER FOUR

Every day with Levi made her fall deeper in love with all of him. She knew more about his likes and dislikes, their connection deepened, and he just couldn’t get enough of her, amazed by every curve and every imperfection and she did the same in him, she introduced him to her friends they went on amazing dates together and made memories.

On a very special evening, he planned a rooftop date filled with roses beneath the stars. The romantic atmosphere for a passionate moment with their desires and emotions, they shared an intimate night, they lay intertwined in each other's arms, their passion and desire for each other cumulating in the moment. In the morning he surprised her with breakfast in bed and as they both enjoyed the morning delights, they both reminisced about the incredible night they had shared. She had to leave for the mall to get some things, but Levi didn’t want to let her go just yet with a parting kiss both knew duty called and she had to go.

At the mall, Bethany meets a nice lady. One thing led to the other as they spoke and exchanged contacts. She was tall, slender, and beautiful. She became friends with Bethany. Her smartness and intelligence drew Bethany to her at first sight, but she didn't know she was Catherine Gomez, sister of Levi Gomez, and was in town to finish what her brother started but couldn’t end.

She pretends to be on the side of Levi and Bethany, and shows approval for their relationship and newfound love, to get close enough to get information that would help her mission. As patient as a snail and as cunning as a snake, she stays with them and gathers information that will lead to the execution of her plans. All her efforts were futile because Levi was always there to protect Bethany. When she notices that her schemes cannot succeed, she decides to plant seeds of discord in their relationship and keeps up with this until Levi finds out about her true intentions and sends her away before she has any more time to destroy his relationship with Bethany.

Bethany Cater intensifies her search for her brother, and Levi pretends to help and later convinces her to forget about looking for her brother as he is not ready to see her yet and will find her when he is. He felt so bad for lying to her, but he knew that to keep her from getting hurt he had to lie to her.

Nathaniel manages to escape from Levi and finds his way to Bethany. He tells her Levi is behind all their setbacks and was in her life to destroy her. ``I don’t know what he has against our family and why, but he is not who you think he is ´´.

 ``Shut up Nath´´, she says angrily and slaps him.  ``You of all people know you’re the cause of our family’s misfortune, all Levi has ever done was help us, and you stand there and utter bad things about him? How dare you? ´´.

``I don’t have any evidence to prove my claims, but I know what I’m saying” Nathaniel replies with his hand on his cheek.

``You don’t even know your name, loser! Just go back to where you came from, my life was just fine without you´´ she snapped back. Levi’s actions spelled nothing but love; nothing he did made her feel anything short of love. It’s Nathaniel’s words against Levi’s actions, who was she going to believe?
