Werewolves were here! I realized.
The doorbell went and I zoomed downstairs immediately. Alfred opened the door and was quickly grabbed by a pair of hands. I sped there and everything slowed down. They were three boys, one was a man actually in his late forties while the other two were teenagers. I grabbed the one that wasn't holding Alfred and held his neck in front of them.
"If anything happens to Alfred, I will rip his head off,” I threatened. The boy under my custody shivered in fear; I smiled with satisfaction.
"Go ahead,” the boy who held Alfred by the neck too spat in between his teeth. I accepted gladly and began dislocating his throat before I was stopped by the elderly man.
"Wait!" the man roared more as a command than a plea.
"Wrong answer,”?I told him and was about to completely rip the boy's throat out until a pair of hands distorted my grip from his throat and pulled me backward. Solomon then pushed the boy back to them.
"What is going on here?" he demanded, folding his hands across his chest. I became so angry with him. He grimaced and turned to look at me. I guessed he read my thoughts.
"Zack, release this man this instant,” the man ordered the boy in a black shirt and a pair of black shorts who held Alfred. The boy hesitated for a second and then flung Alfred towards us in disgust. I growled in anger.
"Go upstairs Alfred", Solomon ordered and he obeyed.
I held back and looked at the features of the boy. He had black hair, bright blue eyes and a well-chiseled jaw. He was the boy we spotted in Trigonometry class this morning. I chuckled as I recalled this.
"Please forgive my son for his irrelevant behavior", the man pleaded.
"What do you want and who are you?" Solomon asked, not interested in his apology.
"My name is Zechariah Walker and this is my son, Zack, the Alpha of our pack,” he introduced, putting pride in his voice when he introduced his son.
"What pack?" I asked, furrowing my brows.
"The celestial pack,” Zack said.
"Why have I not heard of that before?" I asked, perplexed." Have you heard of that before, Solomon?"
He shook his head, not releasing his eyes from staring at them.
"Oh, we have been secretive for over four hundred years of our existence,” Zechariah replied.
"Four hundred years? Gosh, I need a drink and a seat,” I said and walked away.
"Please come in,” I heard Solomon say as I half-filled my glass on the kitchen counter.
I zoomed back to the living room and sat on the sofa facing them. The boy I held captive shuddered as I used my powers and I chuckled within. He was afraid of me but Zack didn't move an inch. He was bold and brave and I realized he was going to be a problem for me.
"So what brings you guys here?" Solomon requested. "If you guys have been secretive for four hundred years, why reveal yourselves now?"
Zechariah chuckled and shifted on the sofa. Zack just sat there as stiff as a rock, with no smile, no words, stares, and glares. If I had to break him down by teaching him a lesson then I would. I could wipe out his whole bloodline...
"Ehh ehhmm!", Solomon cleared his throat looking at me. He had read my thoughts, again.
"We know you are vampires,” Zechariah began.
Solomon nodded in agreement and also signaled him to get straight to the point.
"And not just any vampires, the pure vampires; The Genesis,” Zechariah acclaimed.
And then Zack's facial expression changed. He looked at his father with a horrified face. I guess he was shocked and scared now. I chuckled and savored the small victory I earned.
"So?" I asked impatiently with a raised eyebrow.
"We would like for you to stop dropping bodies anyhow in this town,” Zack said solidly.
Okay, someone had to teach this boy a lesson.
"Or what?" I said, standing up infuriated.
He stood up too and walked up to me.
"Or you will be dead,” he threatened with a whisper.
"Okay that is enough,” Solomon said and disembarked us.
I chuckled at the weak threat he made to me and he was going to pay for that; surely. The only thing that could kill a Genesis vampire was a piece from a red sycamore tree. It was one of a kind and it withered and died about eight hundred years ago. Meaning the only weapon that could kill Solomon didn't exist anymore.
I obeyed Solomon and sat back on the couch. I looked at the boy they came with. He just sat there with his hands and legs clasped together. He looked feeble and was the perfect target for me.
"And who is this?" I asked, pointing at the boy.
"That's Oliver Wright", Zack said. "My Beta".
I nodded my head in amusement. I chuckled within as I derived a plan which would involve inflicting pain on Zack using him.
"We will try and deduce the way people go missing, okay?" Solomon said. I turned and raised an eyebrow at him.
"Okay,” Zechariah agreed and shook his hand. Zack also shook his hand after some seconds of showing reluctance.
"See you around Solomon,” Zack said as they walked to the door. He turned and glared at me for some seconds then produced a smirk. "You too, Desmond.”
"I would be expecting you anytime soon, Zack,” I said chuckling.
"Yeah you will,” he said and walked out of the house.
"Well, that went well,” I said with a hint of sarcasm.
Solomon zoomed in and grabbed me from the sofa. He glared at me and I could see anger in his eyes. He was mad about something. I looked into his mind and laughed as I found out what. He was angry with the plan I came up with.
"Whatever you do Desmond, do not spark a war between two supernatural species. I beg you brother,” he roared.
I chuckled and plucked his hands off my hoodie. I dusted myself and gave him a huge grin. He stood there panting and filled with rage.
"I will like to see you try and stop me,” I requested.
"I will,” he said and with a dash he hit me and I landed on the floor, many meters from where we stood.
Blood oozed from my nose. I touched it and looked at it smiling. I licked it and nodded approvingly. I zoomed in and hit him on the cheek. He stumbled and held his chin. He swiftly returned the favor. I was supposed to be stronger and faster than him because I had human blood while he drank animals.
I quickly had an idea. I sped and got firewood from the fire and ran toward him. I tried to stab him in the chest but he grabbed it and stabbed me at my lower abdomen. Now he was distracted, I immediately grabbed his head and snapped his throat. He fell to the ground limply.
My plan had worked and I smiled at his satisfaction. I removed the wood from where he stabbed and groaned in pain. Immediately the stabbed place sealed up and I threw down the stake. I looked down at Solomon. That would keep him out for at least five hours which was enough time for me to carry out my plan. With that, I zoomed out of the house.

I sat by the window pane and waited patiently for my victim to arrive home. I had been waiting for two hours and was running out of patience. I recalled how I got his address from his head while they were at our place and smiled.
Finally, the door opened and Oliver came in. He closed the door, his back facing me; perfect. He turned and jerked as he saw me. He held his chest and breathed a sigh of relief as he saw me. He thought he was safe, how stupid and easy.
"You almost scared me there, Desmond,” he explained. "Why are you here?"
I got down from the window pane and walked slowly towards him, reciting my plan in my head. He began walking back slowly, I could hear his heart beat faster and adrenaline flushing into his bloodstream. I grabbed him and sped out of the room. We stopped at the forest because he broke free.
His eyes turned blue and his sideburns grew bigger. His teeth grew into fangs and his nails into claws. His knees were now slightly bent. I just realized he had shifted into his werewolf form. He pounced on me but I slapped him with the back of my hand and he landed on a tree trunk. This was so easy.
"Please do not make this difficult for both of us, Oliver,” I suggested.
Clearly, he didn't listen because he tried pouncing on me again but this time I dodged and held him back by his neck. I dragged him closer and plunged my fangs into his carotid artery, releasing my venom into his bloodstream. When I was done, I ruptured his neck and he dropped dead to the ground.
I zoomed into the road just in time to stop a moving vehicle. It was a teenage girl driving. She came out of the car scared. I ran with inhumane speed and grabbed her.
"Do not scream,” I demanded. "There's nothing to be afraid of.”
I bent her head and dug my fangs into her neck. I grabbed her and zoomed in to where Oliver's lifeless body once lay. He was awake now, sitting on the ground confused.
"What did you do to me?" he ordered.
"I made you into a better version of yourself. Now drink", I said and pushed the girl towards him.
He hesitated for some seconds then grabbed the girl and sucked her dry. The girl dropped to the floor with a thud. Oliver looked at his bloody hands, still scared and confused. I walked up to him and squatted in front of him.
"Now you are going to do me a favor,” I said, compelling him.
"What do you want?" he asked.
"I want you to kill Zack Walker.”
"Father!" Faith screamed. My eyes widened for some moments. I was breathing heavily. I looked at my chest, and I could see the hole in there. It was pathetic how I was dying. After everything that had happened, after everything I had been through, I wasn't going to get the happy ending. I didn't deserve it, to be honest. I was paying for my past sins. Karma had finally caught up with me.I looked up at the sky and noticed it was twilight. I smiled as I admired the beautiful view. It was probably the last thing I was going to see. Who would have known that it would have come to this? I had promised to keep everybody alive and had failed. Jocelyn was dying beside me."Father," Faith said, arriving in front of me.I lo
Solomon shook my hand firmly and smiled at me. I was surprised at this. We were back home, and I was about to pour myself a glass of alcohol. I would need it because we would match down to the woods until we could find Suzana. Today was the day. We had to defeat her, or there was no way we would stand a chance against her once again.I realized why Solomon was shaking me. It was because of the treaty I had made with the werewolves. This treaty had joined the two supernatural species in town together. It was a new beginning for the town. It was sad that Hope and I wouldn't be around to see each other for long. We didn't plan on telling people about it until the battle was over.Hope had gone to her mother's office to tell the police to announce a mandatory lockdown from six tonight till the following day. We didn't want any human bein
I woke up to a high-pitched sound ringing in my ears. I stood up slowly and looked around my surroundings. Everybody was still out. Suzana had blasted us before she left. I turned around and looked for Faith. She was the first person on my mind. I was scared because it seemed like the blast was a distraction from Suzana to pick up Faith and escape. Well, that seemed genuine because I couldn't find Faith on the lawn.Terrified, I zoomed into Hope's body and tapped on it roughly. Hope's eyes opened slowly as they stared at me. She sat up slowly and held her head. She was probably feeling the migraine too. My heart was pounding fast. How was I going to tell her that Faith had been abducted again? And this time, it was under our very noses."What happened?" Hope asked, wincing in pain.
This was the time I had been waiting for. I couldn't hold it any longer. I had to go out with Hope and Faith. We needed a good time to clear the tension hovering over us. The fear of Suzana attacking us had gripped us so badly that sometimes the house would be quiet. Why? Because everybody was looking for a way we could destroy Suzana, but none was found. It had been frustrating, but we hadn't stopped looking. There was still hope. There had to be, or we would all die when Suzana decided to visit us.I had made a treaty finally with Zack. This was something that Solomon had been trying to do when we had first arrived at Winekove. But I had ended it telling him that the werewolves were supposed to live with us, and there had to be no two ways about it. We were at the top of the food chain at that time, and I had assumed that we were the most powerful creatures on Earth. That had been before Si
I was expecting Suzana anytime from now. Or was I just paranoid? This was the perfect moment to spend time with my family. I could take them out. It was even time I told Hope about my plan. If she said yes, we could leave in the next month or two. Probably after we defeated Suzana.I was growing confident that we could beat her. The tremendous amount of power that Jocelyn and Zion had shown me when they defeated Javicia gave me hope. Maybe we did stand a chance against Suzana? Or was I just being delusional? Suzana even had the power to raise the dead. She had raised my father and had used him against us. It wasn't friendly at all. I was used to it. My weakness had been exploited, and I had fallen for it too quickly.Could I blame myself? I loved my father, and the thought of spending eternity with him certainly intrigued me. Suzana
Everybody was in the living room. I, Hope, Solomon, Florence, Noah, mother, Jocelyn, and Zion. They had finally returned from the coven meeting. As leaders of their coven, I couldn't blame them for being absent throughout all that had happened. We eventually killed Silas again. The only thing remaining to make sure he stayed dead forever was to destroy his heart. I couldn't squash it with my hands, so I thought Jocelyn and Zion could use their magic to destroy it.Ever since they had gotten Raven and Theo's powers, they had leveled up tremendously. They were very powerful. I could even say they were as powerful as Javicia, and I hoped they could somehow match up with Suzana if the need for battle ever arose. Suzana was powerful, and I felt nobody could match up with her powers. We watched Jocelyn and Zion as they stood up from the co
