Chapter 13

It's been two days since the party, and Edmund got back to the way he was. He started ignoring Alena again. Alena doesn't know what the hell is wrong with him.

She shook her head, and got up to take a shower. Today, she was hanging out with Avrielle and Penelope.

Seriously, she doesn't know what's wrong with her husband. She tried talking to him and did everything she could to get his attention. She think she just going to leave him alone for now.

She drew a deep breath, and did her makeup, straighten her hair and put her clothes on. She grabbed her purse and phone, then went to her car and started the engine.

After 30 minutes of driving, she parked her car, and went inside the restaurant they were supposed to meet at. Penelope and Avrielle were already there. She hugged them both, sat down beside Avrielle, and started talking.

"So, how are you doing, Mrs. Cardinal?" Penelope ask
