Chapter 20 The Competitive Spirit of Kingsley

Kingsley's POV

"Hey, dude, I witnessed your wife entwined with another man, hand in hand."

As Mark's message reached me, I found myself engrossed in a meeting with the senior leaders of the Wright Group.

While the group's vice president addressed us, my phone buzzed on the table.

I reached for my phone, tapping on the message Mark had sent. Attached thoughtfully at the end of his message was a photo he had taken.

The image was captured from afar, obscuring the details of the figures involved, but the attire undeniably belonged to Freya. The man accompanying her remained concealed amidst the greenery lining the street, rendering him indistinct.

My brow furrowed.

Possibly due to the delay in my response, Mark's impatience grew evident through his subsequent messages:

"Is your Luna leaving you for someone new?"

"But this new paramour is dreadfully unworthy, taking her to such a humble eatery. What does she see in him?"

I disregarded his inquiries, opting instead to message Freya.
