Chapter 65: Emily

Elle's POV

We arrived at exactly 3AM at the hospital. Luke's hand was shaking. That's why I hold his hand and squeeze it.

"Your hands are shaking, can you please calm down? Leo said he's okay now." I was shaken by Luke's actions.

“I just–”

"I just what?" I cut off what he had to say.

I know that he hasn't been with his father for a long time but I never thought that he would react like this. While on the way, he never stopped telling the story of everything that happened.

I just listened to him the whole ride, and even though I wanted to react to what I learned and what happened then, I couldn't do anything.

Besides what happened and all that is in the past.
