Chapter 62: Escape

I woke up with all the lights off in the room and only the lampshade on the side serving as light. I glanced out the window and it was dark outside.

I slept too long and didn't realize it was night. I was still holding my stomach that was growling due to hunger.

I was about to stand up when the door opened and the light came on. My eyes narrowed due to the glare and eventually I saw Luke standing as he approached the bed. It carries a tray containing food.

“Dinner in bed?” I was shaken by what he said.

"That's right, I just woke up and my stomach is already churning." I answered and sat down. "You're preferred huh?" I'm still laughing because it has a small table laid out on top of the bed.

"Always, my wife." I was shaken by the answer. "Just for you." He went on to say that this is why I'm secretly excited because if I reveal it and he sees that I'm excited and affected by what he's saying, he'll definitely laugh at me.
