CHAPTER 43

After they got out of the car, Lexie and Grace immediately went inside.. Lexie wanted to sleep. She has already loaded Grace. Her nanny carried her since Lexie is not a big child.

“Take Lexie upstairs and put Grace to bed. Let her wear pajamas first to get a good sleep. Sleep next to Lexie too. I know you are tired and sleepy too.” Jefferson to Grace.

Grace just nodded and Lexie went upstairs with her eyes closed.

Jefferson was left in the living room. His mother just came out of the kitchen. It looks like she just finished eating because she is still cleaning her teeth with a toothpick.

“You just arrived, son? Where are Grace and Lexie? I thought you were with them?” his mother asked openly.

“Have you eaten? Because I have finished eating. I just finished.” His mother said again.

“Yes mom. The three of us have finished eating. We ate at the restaurant opposite our office. Because Lexie is very sleepy. Maybe she won’t be able to eat lunch.” Jefferson answered his mot
