Elena was seated on her bed, staring at her hands like she literally had blood on them. Maybe figuratively, she did. She had not been this scared in a long time, she couldn’t believe that she had actually shot someone today

This was her first time shooting anyone ever since she was born, and the ridiculous part of it was that she actually did it on her own decision. Leo had failed several times at getting her to shoot someone, and today she did it all on her own decision.
