THIRD PERSON POV

Kyla was walking through the narrow hall, the one they had chosen for the wedding. It had enough elegance for the media, and just the right amount of space.

She hadn’t expected much from the setup, but the floral arrangements lining the aisle were tasteful, even beautiful. The designer had worked with almost no direction from her, and somehow, it had turned out better than she expected.

She stopped near the mini wine fountain, currently running with water, and pulled out her phone. There were no new messages or calls, just the usual notifications that meant absolutely nothing to her.

Jules had gone silent since the time he told her Scar was dead. He had asked her not to reach out or go looking till he had gotten more information.

She had listened. But now, every buzz of her phone made her heart jump. And every time it wasn’t Jules, it sank.

She couldn't help but wonder if Scar’s death was a blessing in disguise? Or the real nightmare was still ahead?

THIRD PERSON POV Kyla had barely settled back into her office after a long, exhausting week, filled with document signings, photo shoots, and more time than she cared to spare at Ronald’s office. Her phone had remained worryingly silent the whole time, as Jules still had not returned any of her calls. It wasn’t like him.And if Max really was back… if the Boss had given him any sort of power, things could spiral quickly. Max didn’t do anything subtle. He didn’t follow the rules entirely either. His name alone carried its weight, and not the good kind. Kyla groaned and let her head drop to her desk in frustration.A sharp knock at the door made her sit up immediately.“Come in,” she called. Her assistant stepped in, holding a small tablet. “Ma'am, there’s a young man here to see you. He says his name is Jules. Should I ask him to wait?”Kyla's breath left her in relief. “No. Let him in.”Three minutes passed before the door opened again. The assistant stepped aside, letting Jules ent

THIRD PERSON POV “Do you take him to be your husband? To love, honor, and stand by him from this day forward?” the officiant asked, his voice echoing in the flower decorated hall. Kyla smiled graciously. “Yes.” “Do you take her to be your wife? To protect, cherish, and walk beside her all your life?” Ronald nodded, sharp and firmly. “I do.” A loud cheer rolled through the audience with a bunch of cute sounds. “Then by the power vested in me,” the officiant continued, smiling, “I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.” The crowd applauded. Ronald didn’t wait. He pulled Kyla close, one hand pressing against the small side of her back, the other catching her chin. He kissed her slowly and deeply like it wasn’t just a ceremony, like he was claiming her in front of the entire world. Kyla didn’t resist either. She curled her hand behind his neck as the cameras flashed and the crowd rose to their feet. The celebration slipped into full swing mode, with cham

  • Love is War: But I'd bleed for you   Chapter 76: Not Little At All

THIRD PERSON POVRonald pulled himself from under Jeffrey and hovered above him, a dark glint sparkling in his eyes. Jeffrey let out a low laugh beneath him, breathless and teasing.“You still think it’s little, huh?” Ronald murmured. Before Jeffrey could answer, Ronald grabbed both of his wrists and pinned them above his head with one hand. His body hovered, heavy and tense, as he crashed his mouth down on Jeffrey’s in a hard, hungry kiss. His free hand slid between their bodies, moving lower, and massaging gently under Jeffrey’s balls.Jeffrey whimpered into the kiss, already growing slick with desire. His legs wrapped around Ronald’s waist just as Ronald slid a finger into him. Jeffrey gasped sharply, breaking the kiss, his lips trembling. Ronald watched the way he bit down on his lip, eyes fluttering as his body adjusted. Then Ronald added another finger, stretching him slowly, deliberately, rubbing against his inner walls and teasing around his entrance. Jeffrey’s mouth dropped o

JEFFREY “What's wrong?” I asked. He didn’t react like he heard me or say a word. He just sat there, with his eyes locked on mine like I was the only thing anchoring him to the moment. But somehow, I understood. I could feel the weight behind his silence and the things he didn’t know how to explain. Lately, it felt like I was stuck in that same confusing loop. But this time at least… he came to me. He chose me. I stood and walked slowly toward him. My heartbeat was loud in my chest, but my fingers were steady as I reached for his chin and tilted his face up, my thumb brushing along his jaw. His eyes never left mine. For a brief moment, my brain scolded me wondering what I was doing right now. But when I looked down at his soft, familiar lips. I knew and wanted this more. I straddled his thighs, grounding myself in the strength of his body under mine. My fingers curled into the knot of his tie, I tugged it loose and leaned in, and let my lips brush his in a little tease. The kis

THIRD PERSON POV The moment Connor walked in, Ronald’s spine stiffened. Of course. It was him. Connor strolled into the boardroom like he owned it, apparently, he did. The smug grin on his face was enough to make Ronald’s blood tick, but he stayed seated, with his jaw tight, and eyes stern Connor raised his arm as if they were old friends reuniting at a bar. “Ronald. Welcome to OliverC.” Ronald didn’t blink. “What the hell is going on? What are you doing here?” he asked, feigning ignorance. Connor raised an eyebrow. “Isn’t it obvious?” He moved to the head of the table to buttress his point. “This is my company. I invited you.” “I thought OliverC belonged to the Olivers.” Connor smirked, settling into his chair. “It does. But who do you think the Olivers belong to? Of course I put them there.” He laughed. Ronald stood slowly, his clueless assistant stood up too. “I don’t have time for games.” “No game here.” Connor leaned back, in a calm but infuriating manner. “This is a bu
