Chapter 14

Once I stepped out of the cemetery, a car pulled over and Uncle Milo walked out of it holding a bunch of daisies. He smiled and waved when he saw me. I did the same walking towards him, I hugged him.

"Daisies, you tend to never forget." I smile as he released me from his grip

"How will I forget, Amelia always whined about how she loved daisies." He softly chuckled.

"Yeah! Mom was really into those flowers, she loved them."

"Loved them." He chuckled "Amelia was obsessed with them."

I smiled at his words as we matched into the cemetery. When we approached the grave, I gave uncle Milo some privacy by leaning against a tree about ten feet away from him. Even though I heard each word he said I acted like I didn’t. After so many years, I still wonder if mom was able to forgive me, I never wanted that to happen, I never did. As he talked to mom, my eyes started forming tears and bit by bit tears began dropping. I instantly turned away when he turned in my direction, I don’t want him to know
