Calm. Tranquil. Relieved. That's how Aurora felt that morning, awakened by her actions from the previous night. She was proud of herself, convinced that she had done the right thing by dismissing Tristan, and she didn't regret it. She thought that by letting him go, he would straighten up and not seek her again.

And once again, she had let herself be deceived.
