SLOW DANCING IN THE BEDROOM

I tossed and turned on the bed as I couldn't sleep. I needed her close to me. I heard them giggling and after a while, they both stopped and were silent. Why was everywhere suddenly quiet?

I heard my door squeak as someone was trying to open it as gently as possible in order not to wake me up, but I was already awake, I haven't even slept. I couldn't sleep.

Who was that? Was it Axel? Was he trying to kill me in my sleep? I picked up the bedside lamp just in case that was what was going to happen. A face popped in front of the door, and I lowered my weapon upon seeing who it was. I smiled.

"Are you trying to kill me?" She asked. I must have scared her. I dropped the lamp and she started laughing. What was happening? I couldn't help but join in.

"Thought you were someone else. I would never try to kill you." I said.

"I know, babe. Chill." She laughed.

She climbed on my body, and I hugged her.
