Chapter 12: Alex Dominic

Alex left the building and returned to his car. As soon as he opened the door, Uri leaned forward, hastily asking, "How's it going?"

Alex sat in the driver's seat and coldly replied, "You don't need come on tomorrow."

"Huh? Why?" Uri asked incomprehensibly.

"Your friend is still alive." Alex pulled his seatbelt and replied.

"Rea... Really? He... Where's he? Is he safe? How do you know he's alive?" Uri asked aggressively, his zealous appearance like hatred could not climb upwards to directly ask.

"You just need to know that! The rest is the police's. You're not involved!"

Uri looked at Alex through the rearview mirror, his hand clasped into the seat wall, and said quietly, "Can... let me join..."

"No!" Alex coldly interrupted him, "You should remember your identity and know where your limits are."

Uri clenched his hand. Alex's right, he is just an outsider, he is not related to the police. Today Alex took him to the scene just because he asked him to help him.
