Chapter 4

She looked at him and smiled and sat back down crossing her legs while smiling.

"Well I came back because my company is moving here and I wanted to see my daughter and you" she said and smiled.

"Well I don't want to see you and you can see Mia"

"Mia Rae? huh? I was supposed to be Mrs. Rae" she said and went behind him and massaged his shoulders and he sighed.

"Yes, once but not anymore" he said and got up and went to pour out some water and looked at her.

"You were never this cold. But I guess people changed?" she said and put down a container and looked at him and went to sit back down.

"Yes people change" he said and looked at her and saw the container. "What's that?" he said and looked at her and went to the container.

"Hmm? Oh, just something that you like" she said and smiled and he went to the container and looked at it and opened the container and saw a pie but not just any pie, it was a Key Lime Pie and a cheesecake, chocolate swirl cheesecake. He looked at her and she smiled.

"Mom said to give you this, she said she misses you" she said and smiled.

He smiled and sat down and ate it and closed his eyes. He loved when Clover's mom baked him pie and cheesecake.

"Tell her thanks" he said and looked at her and ate it. "I haven't talked to her ever since you left Mia in my care and went to live your dream" he said and looked at Clover and she looked back at him.

"And I haven't talked to your mom either, where is she?" she asked and looked at him.

"She is dead." he said and ate the cake and drank the water. Clover sighed and looked at him. She knew that was a sensitive topic but forgot that she had passed away.

“You know Clover, I never thought you would be back. But don’t think you be back with me. You can be in Mia’s life but that’s where i draw the line with you” he said sternly.

“Well that’s fine with me but i’ll work towards getting to you…and back in your heart just like how i did in high school and I will do it again” She said and smiled and watched him.

It was now night and Sebastian was packing up and leaving and went to Jasmine and looked at her and smiled and Jasmine looked at him.

"Good job today" he said and she smiled and nodded.

"Um sir, who was that?" she asked and looked at him.

"Who?" he asked and put his bag on his desk and looked at her.

"Um the lady who was in the office" she said and leaned on the desk.

"She was my ex-girlfriend or whatever we were back then..why? were you jealous?" he asked and hovered over him and caged her on her desk and she looked at him.

She looked at him and put her hands on his chest to keep distance and looked at him.

"No, I wasn't jealous...sir you can't keep doing this" She said and looked at him and he smiled and pulled away.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow" he said and walked away and she sighed and took up her bags and walked to the bus stop. She waited for a few minutes and saw the bus and went on and paid and went to her seat and looked out.

Sebastian smiled and drove home and had picked up dinner and went inside the house after he reached home and Mia was in the arms of one of the maids and she smiled as she saw him. He smiled and took her and went to the dining room and went to feed her. Jasmine finally reached home and went to get undressed and bathe and went and laid down and looked at the ceiling and sighed.

"What do you mean…was it your wife or girlfriend? She is so pretty" she said and sighed "I cant compete with that- what am i saying?!" she said and screamed in her pillow and sighed and laid back down "I'll go rest" she said and looked at him.

Sebastian was in his room drinking alcohol and looked at the stars.

"Clover is back but what is the reason?" he asked and drank his whiskey and looked at the sky "God she is so frustrating" he said and Mia was on the bed cooing and playing with her toys and looked at him and he smiled and lifted her up and held her and looked at her.

"Lets go to bed" he said and she smiled and looked at him and Sebastian went to her room and put her in her crib and read her stories and she fell asleep in her crib.. He looked at her and smiled and kissed her forehead and looked at her and covered her and went out of the room to his room and went and was thinking until he eventually fell asleep in his bed.

The next Morning was a rainy morning so he dropped his daughter at daycare and drove to work. Jasmine was already there waiting on Sebastian. Sebastian was in his office thinking as to why Clover was back but he knew she was back for him but he didn’t want her in his life…not anymore. He sighed and then walked out to the meeting. Their meeting was in an hour so she had to get things prepared for the meeting. Sebastian reached where Jasmine was and followed her.

"Sir, are you ready?" she asked and looked at him.

"Yes I am ready, did you get the stuff ready?" he asked and she nodded while walking and went to the boardroom and Jasmine followed.

"Lets Begin" he said and smiled.
