Hannah's POV
As I walked in, I could see that Daniel had shifted to the sofa in the living room. Hearing the sound of me walking in, his head had not tilted up." I need to discuss something with you." I started, removing my coat. " Is it very important?" He asked, typing away on his computer." Yes, it is because you might not have another time to talk to me other than now." I snapped, removing my shoes." Ok, what is it about?" He asked, finally looking up from the laptop screen. " I want to move out," I answered, a feather of hope flying in my heart." This is what you wanted to talk about?" He questioned, looking back at his laptop. " Yes. I am going to move out tomorrow. I will bring my clothes along to work—" I barely finished before he started talking once again." I am not going to stop you from leaving. Therefore, you do not have to explain to me how you are going to leave. I will call you when either of our parents calls." And with a wave of his hand, he dismissed me not even bothered about my feelings." So you are just going to let me leave? You are not even going to try to stop me, at least for the namesake as wife?!" I shouted, standing in front of him." I do not see why I have to. You are just my wife. This marriage was just for our parents. There were no mutual feelings to be shared in between us, was there?" He replied calmly.I took in a deep breath, debating whether to argue with him or not.He won't even object. I doubt he will even heed your words.Joseph's voice sounded in my head. Blinking back the tears, I walked away from him. I walked back into my room, banging the door shut. I sat on my bed and started sobbing furiously. I threw punches to the bed, crying out loud. A knock sounded on the door." GO AWAY!" I shouted, hoping the person would walk away in fear. Instead, a brave Matt walked in, his lips drawn in a thin line." If you are here to convince me to stay, it won't work," I informed him, which he replied with a stiff nod." I am here to comfort you and help you pack your stuff." He replied in a Scottish accent. That made me crack a smile." There is not much to pack anyways. You do know that I do not have many clothes." I replied, picking myself up from the bed. " What about the ball gowns and gala dresses?" He asked, picking a few up." A doctor doesn't need those things. And it was given by him after all." I replied, picking my suitcase up. " Aren't you going to say his name?" Matt questioned, picking up some old shirts. I shook my head furiously, silently pledging never to say his name.It took about 10 minutes to pack everything I had. Zipping my suitcase up, " Can you bring this down and place it near the door?" I asked Matt, hoping he would. " What do you want for dinner?" He asked, slowly rolling the suitcase." I'm fine, thank you," I replied before shutting the door on his face. I fell on my bed, hoping that the decision I made would save me.But why does it feel as if I am killing myself by doing this?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The next morningDonning my coat once again, I stepped out of my room after 8 hours. Matt was leaning against the wall, staring at the floor. At the sound of me, he pulled his gaze up and ran it over me. " Are you really sure?" He asked, walking towards me." As sure as I will ever be. But I have one more thing to do." I replied, walked to him. He nodded and walked me down the stairs.I walked to the kitchen and started fixing breakfast. " Is that for you?" Matt asked, crossing his arms. " Would you like breakfast?" I turned to him and saw him gazing at me warily." Gladly," He responded, uncrossing his arms. I made him some sandwiches. I kept a few on a ceramic plate and placed it on the counter.Taking out a post-it, I wrote down some instructions and stuck it to the plate. " So that wasn't for you?" Matt growled." Nope, I already ate." I lied effortlessly. I motioned him towards the door and walked behind him. He bit off his sandwich and walked beside me." You aren't going to tell him?" He asked, throwing his arm over my shoulders. " That is where we are going, Matt." I steered him to his room and we stood outside, looking at his door.I took a deep breath before raising my hand to knock the door. I slowly pushed the door open, without his approval." I am leaving. I made you breakfast. Make sure to eat it. If it is cold, just reheat it. I will get going." I informed, looking at his legs. " Sure." He gave a short response. I sighed and walked out of his room." I could have done that for you," Matt whispered while we walked out of the mansion. I shook my head, giving him a silent answer.Matt placed my suitcase in the back and slid into the car. He drove me to the hospital and stopped the car in the lot." Bye Matt. I will see you some other time. It has been nice to know you. I will get going. Bye." I replied curtly, opening the door." Is that the best you have got?" He asked, placing his hand on mine. " I am sorry to disappoint, Matt." I turned my head to him.He pulled me into a long hug before letting me go. " I will miss you very much, Hannah Moore." He whispered.Shit, my heart." I will miss you very much, Matt," I whispered before getting out of the car. I pulled my suitcase and rolled it into the hospital, giving Matt one last wave. After placing my suitcase in a safe place, I started working.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Placing my stethoscope down, I took in a huge breath. I had been on my feet the whole day. And I saw a familiar figure walk towards me." Hey, Joseph." I greeted. His eyes didn't even reach mine. " Look, I am sorry, ok. If it makes you feel better, yes. He didn't even listen to me and I moved out, ok?" I asked him.Immediately his eyes scanned over me. " Did you eat anything?" His first question alarming me." Yeah, I did." I lied, calmly." Did you?" He replied, his gaze not faltering. Though mine did. My gaze reached my feet as my brain racked for an answer." Come, let's eat." He tugged on my wrist. He pulled me away from the counter and to the elevator.Shit, my anxiety is kicking in." Umm, Joseph? Would you let go of me?" I pleaded silently. Once we stopped in front of the elevator, he let go of my hand." You are never going to tell me why you don't let men close to you, are you?" He asked, his eyebrows raising.I shook my head as the elevator doors opened. We got down to his car when I got reminded of my suitcase." Wait, I forgot my suitcase!" I exclaimed. " This one right?" He pointed to the back seat of his car, opening the driver's door. I nodded and climbed onto the passenger seat." Where do you want to eat?" He asked, starting the car. " I am not hungry, Joseph," I replied stiffly." Sure." He replied before pulling into another parking lot. He got off the car and ran over to my side to open the door." Come out." He ordered. I simply complied, not wanting a fight. He closed the door before gesturing me to start walking." Are you at least going to order or do I have to do that too?"Hannah's POVAlmost a month has gone by. One freaking month. Still no word from him. My mind wandered as the nurse was asking something. " Dr Moore?" A faint voice sounded in my brain. " Umm yeah, you were saying?" I shook my head, trying to clear it. " I was saying that you killed a patient." She replied, her eyes gazing deep into mine." WHAT?!" I shouted. " I am kidding! Dr Moore, are you ok? Should I get Dr Joseph?" She asked, a smile peaking from her lips. " No no, I'm fine. What were you actually saying?" I asked, slightly hitting her head. " I was asking if you are going to turn up to the party at the club?" She asked, half pleading. I sighed, thinking of an excuse. " She'll turn up. Don't worry." Joseph shooed the nurse away. " I am not going," I replied, placing the diagnosis sheet on the table and started walking. " No, you are. I am not going to let you rot in that rotting dump of yours." Joseph warned, gripping my wrist. He's got to stop doing that." Can I have my w
Hannah's POVHe nodded, swearing to secrecy. "I have a problem." Those words alarmed him, his eyes widening."I have Androphobia. I get scared when I am near men. Especially if they are taller than me. I figured it out a few years ago." I whispered to him. "Wait, so you love your husband but you are scared of him?!" He shouted. " Shhh!" I shushed him. " Sorry. But I just can't put my head around it." He held his head low. "And the thing is, I am a doctor." A gasp sounded from him, loud enough to make a few heads turn around. I sighed, placing my head in my palms. "Is something the matter, Lance? Is this woman bothering you?" A new voice boomed behind me. I turned around to face the bouncer from the entrance, but much closer. He was threateningly close to me. My lungs started to disfunction. My breathing became sloppier. I started shaking slightly, out of fear. "Sean! Move away from her. You are scaring her!" Lance shouted and placed his hands on my shoulder to calm me down. But
Hannah's POV"Sean, I need you to do something for me. Pull your phone out and search for the damn museum hotline. Tell them we have a very rare species here." Lance exclaimed. Why am I even saying this to a person I just met? At least I didn't tell my darkest secret. Sean chuckled, hearing Lance groan. "I don't see how you've managed to keep men's hands off you," Lance grumbled. I was about to sigh but I stopped myself. I knew that Lance would say something about me sighing. "How did you get this fear anyways?" Sean's words caused my balance to waver. I was about to bring up an excuse when Lance's eyes widened. "Hannah, I think it is best you leave through the back door immediately. The Smith guy has a beeline towards you. Get going, we will talk some other time." He confirmed, before giving me a shove. I didn't waste time and started walking to the back door. I carefully avoided the Smith guy's gaze and exited through the back door. Closing the door, I leaned against it, tak
Hannah's POVNo matter how hard I try to forget him, it will never happen, will it?I sighed, thinking of some excuse. " I will get you another doctor." I turned to open the curtains but fingers wrapped around my wrist." Wait, I want to talk to you." He asked, slightly tugging me towards him. " I am sorry but I am busy," I replied, pulling my wrist from him. Before I knew it, I was turned around by my shoulders as I stumbled. He started to take small steps towards me." Please maintain your distance, Mr. Young. This is a hospital. If that is all, I have work to do." I replied and rushed out of the enclosed area.I walked back to the elevator and clicked on the number seven. The moment it stopped, I walked off it and back to the counter.I checked the nurse if I had any surgeries. She shook her head, my head dipping slightly low.I will just take a look at the patients then.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~" I really owe you, Joseph. You take the trouble of sending me home quite reg

I started to pant, trying to grasp for the oxygen in the air." I can't..." I stuttered, trying very hard to breathe. Black dots started to appear in my vision as my breathing got heavier. He had noticed it and stopped walking immediately. " Are you alright?" His concerned voice somehow reached my brain." Let me..." I stuttered once again. He instantly placed me down. My hand reached out to grab onto something before I fell down. I grasped onto the sofa as my breathing slowed. My legs seemed week as I wobbled. He neared me once again. I held my palm out to stop him." Don't come near me." I wheezed, taking in more air. By then, my throat was very dry. Finally, after a while of breathing, I was back to normal." Are you alright?" He repeated once again. " I think it is best if you leave," I suggested." I told you I won'

Hannah's POVI looked up at her almost dropping my fork and spoon." Umm..." I murmured as I thought of something to reply back to her. " Mum, we are not planning for children now," Daniel replied.I blew out a breath of air, silently thanking him for saving me. " But isn't it time for a kid or two to run around in the mansion?" She asked, directing her question to me." Mum, both of us are busy with our work. I don't think we can commit to having a child now," I replied, peering up at her cautiously." There is nothing wrong with taking some time off from work. Come on, you do know that I am getting older as the days go by. I would, of course, want to play with my grandchild." She informed."Mum, we have yet to discuss the topic of kids," I mentioned. " Hannah dear, it has been 10 months since both of you have been married. I think it is about time both of you give us some good news, don't you think honey?" She asked Dad.Dad contemplated giving an answer to Mum but decided against i
Hannah's POVI swiftly placed my palm on my mouth. His eyes widened at my words.Me and my stupid mouth." I don't hurt you." His soft words tumbled from his lips as I looked at him, speculating my next words." You have hurt me every single day in our ten months. Just because I don't show it, does not mean that I am not hurt." I whispered loud enough for him to hear." I...I didn't know..." He stuttered. " The one who hurts others will never know how deeply their words or actions hurt the victim," I replied, trying to shift away from his hands." I have work. You do too. Is there anything else?" I asked, tugging his hands from my waist. He tightened his hands on my waist and pulled me close to him.My back soon was against his car as he leaned in close. " I just realized that this is the first time you have called me Daniel in our ten months." He whispered, his lips almost touching mine. The racing of my heartbeat soon became evident. " What are you doing?" I asked him, trying to see
