The cold weather hit Riley's skin and she shivered from the inside out. But what was surprising was she didn't shiver alone, the hand that was engulfing hers also shivered. The twigs outside we're shining and swaying in the wind after being washed by the rain.
Her eyes met his and Christian gave her a silly smile. From what she observed, he looked like a man crazily in love with her. He lifted the coat in his arms and draped it on her shoulders. His eyes fixed on trying to button it for her even though his fingers were trembling from the cold."Honey, you need it more than me," Riley said, hurling her thoughts in the back of her mind.Christian only looked down at her eyes, and her breath was caught in her throat. His chocolate brown gaze had captured hers, and now there was no escaping.
