Chapter 1

It was early in the morning and the sun just set, I was wake by the noises in our house specifically in our kitchen, I was sitting on my bed when I decided to look at my phone and my eyes widened when I saw the date and the time so I rush to the bathroom to take bath.

"Elle, It's already 6:30 am and you'll gonna be late for your school". My mom shouted, she must think I was still sleeping.

"Mom, Why didn't you wake me early?". I shouted back as I was taking the shower as fast as I can.

"I've been waking you up for how many times and yet you still sleep like a baby". My mom shouted and base on what I've heard she's already inside my room.

"But still-". I was about to say something when my mother spoke.

"I've already prepared your things so, you'd better hurry it's already rush hour and you'll gonna find it hard to take the Jeepney".  Mom said as she was putting all my things in my bag.

"Thanks, Mom.  You're the best". I said as I finished taking shower.

"Yeah, Yeah, go dress up quickly". Mom said and she leaves my room.

After I finished dressing I quickly ran downstairs and I was stopped by my sister to give my allowance for today.

"Mom left me this and she told me to give it to you". My older sister  Regina said and she gave me the money.

"Thanks, Sis". I said and was about to go again when stopped me for the second time.

"Why does your bag seem to be heavy?". Regina asked as she looks at my bag.

"Oh, This?". I said as I showed my bag to her. " I brought all my things for school". I said while opening the bag.

"You shouldn't bring them all, you should just bring your pen since it will be your first day at school and all you'll gonna do there was to find your class and your room". She said as she was removing all the things from my bag.

Oh, Okay? I thought and was about to argue with her when I saw the time on the clock at her back and I just run even my bag was still open.

When I arrived at the jeepney station, I saw many people waiting for the next jeepney to come, It didn't take a lot of time when two jeepneys arrived and I jam into the crowd of people and finally, I was able to sit inside the jeepney.

The travel from school to our house is not that long if it wasn't rush hour so, I've arrived at school by 8:30 am and I was heading to the registrar to see if there's an announcement about where's our room and before I could reach the place, I saw my friend way back in middle school waiting for me.

"Elle, What took you so long?". Yen asked as soon as she saw me.

"I'm sorry, I woke up late and it's already rush hour". I apologized knowing it's my fault since we talk last night that we should arrive by 7:30 am.

"Did you watch an anime again last night?'.  She said as she was eyeing me, I nodded as a response.

"I told you last night to sleep early because we're going to school very early". Yen said as we started to walk to the registrar and we saw so many students lining up and still enrolling themselves.

"Let's go to the bulletin board and see if there's an announcement by the way, what's your section?". Yen ask as I forgot to tell her last night what's my section is.

"I'm section A, what about you?". I ask since where college the sections were according to the letter and we're taking Bachelors of Science in Information technology.

"Damn, I'm in D". She said and my eyes widened.

"We're not classmates?". I asked and I started to feel nervous because I thought were classmates since we enrolled together.

"Ghad, I thought were classmates". Yen said as she looks at the bulletin board.

"Oh, No". I said as I pouted.

"There's your room. It's on MM1, and mine was just beside you". Yen said as she pointed out the schedules and I look shocked when I found it.

"Are they serious about this one?" I said as I pointed my schedule which is from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm with 2 breaks, one is just one hour and the other break was 3 freaking long hours.

"Hahaha, our schedule looks the same except for the dismissal time". Yen said as she points her finger at her schedule.

"Good for you then, while too bad for me".I said as we head out from the crowd and we just took some pictures as a reference.

"But, look at the bright side your T -TH is really lit". She said and I look at my schedule from the picture I took.

"Yeah, T-Th is nice, we just have 4 classes, and our dismissal time is 2:30 pm". I as it brightens up my day.

"Hey, Elle is that the MM room?". Yen said as she points to the room far from us.

"I can't see it Yen, you know I have a blurry vision". I said as I couldn't read the room's name.

"You should have the doctor checks your eyes, Elle". Yen said as we walk in the direction she pointed.

As soon as we got to that place I can already read the room's name and I saw some students coming in and coming out of our classroom.

"My room's here Yen". I said to my friend and she looks at me.

"And my room's just beside yours". Yen said and I nodded.

"I'll just see you at lunch". I said and was about to go to my room when Yen saw a familiar face.

"Damn, is that Ark?". Yen said as she was looking at the boy with curly hair and pale skin.

"Ark who?". I asked as I don't know who's Ark.

"Ark. the one who proposed to someone during our school fair way back in our last school". Yen explained but I don't really know him.

"I don't him". I said as I frown at her.

"He's from section 1". She said again, but still I  didn't recognize the boy.

"Still no clue, you know me I didn't care what's happening in my surroundings as long as I'm reading.

Yen gave up and bid her goodbye to me and I walk closer to the room.
