Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months with Crysral's mum getting better and better. She had just been declared a survivor and was discharged to go home.
The next day did not come early enough for Crystal. She tossed throughout the night and was glad to see daylight. Her mum was coming home today so it didn't really matter whether she slept or not. After a quick shower, she hurried over to the hospital without even bothering to eat.
As soon as she got to the hospital, she barged into her mum's room to find her mum sitting at the edge of the bed slowly munching a snack.
Crystal rushed to her side "hey mum" she beamed giving her a kiss on her cheek
"Hey yourself" her mum smiled at her
"You get to go home today, are you excited?" she asked
"Sure I am, this place is eating up my insides with boredom" her mum replied pretending to frown
