“ Have you heard from Felix since your breakup , dear?” My mother asked ,as she moulded the dough.

We were in the kitchen, making pasta because I suddenly craved it. My mother had done a good job lecturing me about pregnancy and reminding me of how I used to make her eat a lot of sweets while I was still in her belly.

I was tempted to tell Eren yesterday. He was the father and deserved to know but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

“ Now that I think of it,I haven't seen him in a while.” I added,creasing my brows.

It's so unlike Felix to not bother me for so long.

“ His father reported that he had gone missing some months ago around the time you two broke off the engagement.” She explained, flattening out the dough in a pan.
