I woke up to Joanne sitting next to me and Bart writing at the table. โKay! Hey honey, howโre you feeling?โ Joanne asked softly. She brushed my bangs out of my face and hugged me. I heard him get up and come over to us.โConor and I decided to sedate you so if you feel off, thatโs why.โ Bart explained as he placed the metal disc on my chest. โBreathe deeply.โ I complied as he moved the disc around.โIs that why I feel heavy?โ I asked sleepily. -Karen-The next day I woke up alone but there was a solitary yellow rose under my hand. Attached to the rose was a note: โHey my pretty flower, if youโre up to it, I thought you might like to practice with your crystal. Iโm stopping by my fatherโs study so I might be a little bit late.
